Anecdotal Muscle Candy Observational Review

Just got home from work and was able to open my order from @MuscleCandy everything appears to be in order. No leaks and everything is as I ordered.

Only thing that has me curious probably has absolutely nothing to do with the source. But I Selected MCT oil and it came as clear as water in the vial and does not appear to be thick. I made the choice of MCT as that’s what the compounding pharmacy allegedly uses that I got my test from previously.

But what is in the vial from the compounding pharmacy has a yellowish tint and is thick. I also have zero PIP from it. So I guess once I run out of it and move to Muscle Candy’s Blend I will see if it is any different.

Not saying anything negative about Muscle Candy here just sharing an observation. I am sure there is a simple explanation. As well as the person at the compounding pharmacy may have misspoke about the carrier oil they use.

MCT oil is supposed to be clear and thin, that’s mct for you . i’ve had many bottles from amazon that are all clear and thin so this is all standard stuff . now there are 2 diff kinds of mct oil, c8 and c10, the c10 is slightly thicker but still i’ve never really seen a yellow tint in mct oil before so that’s odd..most compounding pharmacies do not use mct oil btw, i’m pretty sure you are mistaken .

Yeah that’s why I said the lady I spoke to probably misspoke or didn’t completely understand my question. I’ll be out of test from them and starting Muscle Candy’s product Friday. Fingers crossed for continuing with no pip.

just curious , why is pip such a concern for you? my PIP varies every shot depending on how well the needle enters my muscle and what ester I use , as well as how much oil is injected and lastly how often the muscle is used to inject into . if i get pip i usually just go on about my day and it’s like a light bruise for a short period of time. nothing any normal man can’t handle

i have no doubt tho the pip will be almsot exactly the same , the difference will be negligible .

I've read many compounding pharmacies may use cotton seed oil, which i believe is thick like you described. Which actually sounds like GSO as well.

But Tanten is right in that MCT is supposed to be exactly what you received. My body swells up bad with GSO, carrier oils are so individual specific you got to try and see. Most tolerate mct fine.

I like mct the most because it’s the thinnest and therefore pins the quickest and easiest . GSO works for me too but takes 2x as long to pin . too thick. but it seems that’s what all pharmacies use as that’s what my pharmacy test was brewed with as well .

I would say pip is a concern but having to slow down is. I use 20g 1” needles and just push the plunger down as fast as I can. If it does cause pip I’ll probably just have to switch locations.

To second this, my PIP has improved (decreased) in general, regardless of product, as my technique and confidence in operation have increased. My first few pins were very hesitant, shaking hands and nervous mind. Probably wriggled the needle into some sensitive flesh, tore more muscle/skin/tissue than necessary etc. resulting in more PIP/inflammation. What was once a few days of pip is now a few hours, same product/gauge/volume/injection site.

I use 20g 1” needles and just push the plunger down as fast as I can.

I draw with a 25g and inject with either a 27 or 30 BD PrecisionGlide, much easier, zero PIP since the gauge slows your injection of the warm oil down to the 45s-60s per CC that is recommended, I typically do 2.5 to 3cc per shot. I used to use larger gauge pins when I was young and didn't know better, but it seems like that added to faster scar tissue build up.

he’s trolling, no way he injects with 20g . that harpoon would HURT if you knick a nerve or blood vessel. which happens with me almost every few injects… some are super smooth some hit a blood vessel and sting like a bitch and i get hella blood coming out . i’ve been injecting for years now so it isn’t my technique

i was using 28g 1in but was injecting too slow for me so i changed to i believe 26g 0.75in . works for me!
