Any of you crazy fucks still do your own pins?

This topic comes from the wife tonight making a joke about how “What would you do without me? No new bitch is gonna do this for you” so of course I said fuck you and proceeded to try to pin myself. Mind you, I stopped doing my own pins so fucking long ago…6 or so years ago since I ever bothered with my own injections as it is simply easier for her (Yay for having a woman that got training for injections at work) to do them.

Turns out I cannot pin my own glute at all; Tried so damn hard to stand up and do it, cannot actually twist to look down at the site and inject because my oblique and QL muscles cramped so fucking hard so fast and I started going cross-eyed and dizzy. So popped it out and went to pin medial delt. Welp, turns out my bicep and pec squished into each other makes for blood flow issues and my damn hand went numb before I could finish the pin! I’m genuinely shocked, and kinda fuckin embarrassed, at how incapable I am of doing my own pins in the two simplest sites. I may attempt a lat next pin for the fuck of it and just raise my arm up and press it against the mirror so I can see in the mirror where I’m jabbing but who knows how that’ll go.

So this has me wondering, because I know some of you guys have to be pretty damn joocy, is anyone here actually doing their own?!

yeah I do my own, it’s better. My old lady is also a trained medical professional, had her do a few on my first cycle. But I rather not be dependent on her schedule when i need to pin, especially when running ACE and traveling, etc…

It’s actually more annoying having her do it than doing it myself. It’s not that difficult.

My girl refuses but I’m also pretty flexible so I just do it myself. I actually enjoy the process haha

Currently pinning every day cause short esters. I do glutes, quads, delts and pecs. 1" 23ga for everything, except glutes I use a 1.5"

I can and do hit everything myself, aspiration can be hit or miss depending on spot (like with a delt, the plunger on my barrel sticks out to far for me to support its wieght, get two fingers behind the wings and pull up with one hand). My ex used to help me now and then she was a PA, but honestly I knew far more than she did lol

I think a lot of guys have problems pinning because the wings on syringes are so small that they don’t fit very well in our hands.

We’re pushing oil and that can be a pain in the ass with these little wings on the syringe barrel.

Other than that, I always pin myself, all over my body, except my legs, won’t pin legs anymore.

I pin myself but I’m the type who had to have my doctor do my first shots and physically teach me how (I had a huge fear of needles and it took months before I felt comfortable doing my own shots). Current sites are glutes (upper outer quadrant, not VG), delts tris and bis. For glutes I lay down with a pillow under my quads and twist my torso to reach back. For delts I put my elbow 90 degrees on a table couch or bed (think about flapping your arms like a chicken for the arm position) while usually kneeling and pin directly down into it. Can MSPaint it if you’d like better imagery.

@“kingofcarbz” I do my glutes in the top outer quadrant as well, it’s the traditional glute administration method for IM. I really couldnt figure out the exact spot for myself with the ventroglute and little nervous of hitting the RM band. What gauge and length you using for bis and tris?

My very first cycle ever, first quad shot, I must have bumped it or some other nerve, about felt like a electric shock. I pulled that pin out in a flash as my leg started to tremor. Has never happened since.

I’m in the same boat with my reasoning for not hitting VG, LOL! Kinda embarrassed to admit it but like you I’m just not comfortable with figuring it out on my own.

I’ve used anywhere from 25g to 31g and 1/2" (12mm) to 5/8" for bis and tris!

What happened pinning your legs? I love pinning quads. Tell me your horror story, yeah rarely I do hit a little nerve, but when I don’t, it’s the smoothest site ever, and easy access.

What happened in your event?

Nothing happened, I just don’t like pinning legs, never liked it. I have zero pain glutes to upper body, I never feel a thing. Legs sometimes can hurt like hell, it’s like I feel every drop going in on some injections. I’m not against it because obviously it’s a very easy way of injecting as you can easily view what you’re doing.

if It’s not quads or lats I have my wife do it, she a RT and loves pinning me. I’m currently pinning ED and about a month ago I fucked up a chest injection on myself slid the needle in way to slow and must have hit a nerve or something cause it was the most painful thing I have ever experienced, snatched the needle out and dropped it. After that I was a huge pussy about pinning myself but I got over it with some slin pins and stopped pinning chest.

I pin every day regardless of ester… more stable blood levels, less side effects in my opinion. I have always done my own pins, I rotate between quads, glutes, pecs, Lats, and delts and always use a 25gauge 1”. My wife watches me regularly but I prefer to do it myself

Same here daily pinning is way better, I use a 29g insulin pin for TRT/Cruise after heating the oil on a candle warmer. Hit delts, chest, lats, VG.

You guys that are using slin pins, you always get IM? Or is sub Q good enough you feel?

The only thing I have against them is the lack of volume and that if I want to draw more than one compound it will dull the point.

Always IM. You don’t need to use actual slin pins if this bothers you, they have detachable needles all the way up to 31g so you can still draw with a normal size and switch it out for the ‘slin pin’ sized needle. also allows for larger volumes than 1cc which slin pins are capped at

My favorite needle size these days is 27g 3/4", I find it to be the perfect balance of being easy to push oil, deep enough, small enough to not cause pain.

Have been ordering test E and Mast E from Pharmahgh for a few months now and coming from someone that has ordered/attempted to order from most sources on here, pharma is most efficient with communication and getting orders to you in a very timely matter. Labeling and product is 9/10, 10 medical grade. Will only order from this source.

I’m with you my dude, been pinning my trt doses in my quads for years with no issues. When I use other substances and the frequency increases then I start rotating to Glutes and other areas.

Where do you get those size needles?

I rotate ventrogluteal, dorsogluteal and quads. I’m left handed and have noticed that I’m having more difficulty reaching my right ass cheek.

I’ve noticed that there is sometimes a burning sensation when I slide the needle into my skin. I always let the alcohol on my skin dry before injecting. Does anyone know what’s causing this?

Also a little sidenote: I usually never aspirate, but a few months ago for some reason I felt compelled to aspirate on one of my injections. Nearly shat myself when I saw a good amount of blood come pouring in the syringe. Needless to say I always aspirate now.
