I don’t see the appeal for Classic. Like, it was fun at the time and I have fond memories but after all of the QoL adjustments, it’s made me realize how shitty it really was at the time.

Herod is going to be horrible. All the PS guilds rolling it. Going to be high pop and alliance/horde collusion for the top guilds. Definitely not a good experience unless you plan on playing 12 hours a day and are in one of the top guilds. I chose fairbanks because I knew it was going to be lower pop and don’t have the time to commit like I used to…

Was season 1-5 multi glad, top 5 world SK gaming arena rankings. Have not played in years so looking forward to being a noob.

Nah, I get people enjoy it and I don’t begrudge them of that at all. I simply don’t understand it haha. I do agree with you that some of QoL adjustments ruined the game, like Group Finder.

I loved having an actual server community, and getting to know people in my groups rather than slamming through an instance in 10 minutes then peacing out to never see them again. I feel Group Finder absolutely murdered server communities. Also, I loved camping Summoning Stones.

I think February? of this year I finally got sober from video games. Sold my 4,000.00 PC I had just built (2080ti, i9 9900k etc.,). I’m finally free of those fuckers.

Not gonna lie, video games about fucked my marriage. We are good now, but went through about 8 months worth of shit.

I didn’t know when to quit, so much so I would pay as little attention to my wife as possible just so she’d leave me alone and I could play with my friends. She put up with it for about 7 years before she hit her breaking point.

Not saying you’re gonna do that, just a word of caution. I was straight up addicted. Been addicted to video games since I was about 12 or 13 (I’ll be 30 in a few months.). Literally the best feeling in the world to be free of it.

@“thallandchill” damn bro that’s me to a lesser extent, I cleaned my shit up before she had a chance to hit her breaking point thankfully, she’s a great woman. I just have this constant yearn to play a video game but then I’ll sit down and try to peg one out or load up one and it’s just dull. I feel like when I started trt and quit gaming so much I lost interest in them so to speak.

I still fuck with mobile games from SuperCell like clash royale and clash of clans. So maybe the addiction just shifted into a different venue lmao

I remember from WoW people getting divorced because they were playing like 12-18 hours a day
