Anybody have some kickass body weight workouts?

I hate to say it but I’ve just fuckin given up on the gym anytime soon. I could lay around and shrivel away into a toneless fat blob or just fuckin suck it up and get some prison style workouts in the backyard. Anybody do body weight routines? Figure this would be better than nothin at all. Burpees til I die? I have ZERO equipment and the prospect of gettin any quickly is pretty far fetched seeing as how every mother fucker on the planet has decided gym equipment that they’ll never use is as valuable as toilet paper.

I grabbed a set of resistance bands off amazon, they combine to 200 lbs. it’s working good enough to get a pump and not shrivel. Add that to pull ups and push ups and I am feeling ok. I have actually felt some muscle soreness I am not used to especially on pecs… so idk… might even incorporate some of this into my routine once gym opens back up.

Look up Michael Vazquez. He is a trainer with Onnit. He gives some great body weight workouts that are tough.

He is an asshat. For sure, some of his stuff is good… but his continued stress about progressive overload gets old. If it works as good as he says it does and he’s been training as long as he has he should be bigger than he was a few years ago.lol
He is good at targeting specific muscle groups with his exercises and helping to get people to have good mind muscle connection.

I feel ya…

I do pull-ups superset with push-ups - rest 90 sec., then inverted rows superset with dips - rest 90 sec., repeat. Do as many as you can in an hour. I follow that up with some bodyweight jump squats, lunges, then jump rope, and I’m TOAST. It’s been doing it for me so far and I’m sore the next day.

Get some bands off Amazon, like another guy here suggested. Other than than, yeah, it sucks. You have to dig deep for motivation, but bear in mind the amount of money and time you’ve invested already in this and that should be enough to get you off the couch. There are plenty of YouTube workouts out there. Just pick some and hit it really hard. You’ll surprise yourself how sore you can get on just pushups alone. Throw some pull-ups, handstand push-ups, jump rope, and uphill lunges in there with high reps and low rest and, like I said, you may surprise yourself.

I just lift my dick, it weighs fifty pounds. Had to cut my gymbro off though, he was making it gay. Good luck!

Dude, best thing I’ve found is a heavy ass sandbag.
I just can’t get excited about workouts with bands. Even if I get some, I can’t get stoked for it.
These bags can go up to 220lb (Rogue Fitness has the heaviest) you can hit all your big compound lifts & if you get one with multiple filler bags you just take them out over the course of a workout as you progress to smaller more isolated lifts. I get a hell of a pump & am enjoying the workouts. I’m running Push/Pull with squat variants every day.
