Anyone with TRT knowledge please give input

To give some background info first:

-22 age
-Done 5 cycle (10-12 week) total and Pct each time
-I have been off everything for 3 months and blood work is at 320 ng/dl test but all other labs in good range

My test is low being Natty even though my Doc says I am in “range” (on my lab paper its from 300-1200 ng/dl like wtf lol) . I dont know how my test levels “dropped” or Lowered because I have been so precautious with taking things, PCT, and eating nutrient-dense food, and have even went to IV clinics to “detox” my body. Long story short I feel like shit 3 days a week and feel sluggish, its not that bad but I would rather not feel like this if that makes sense. So I am considering just going on Trt with Test e from source on here because Docs here are strict as hell and Trt clinics want 250 a month here ( I am still in school with less than 2-3 years to go until I get the bills payed lol) .

My questions for Trt Users:
  1. Can you run trt (100-150mg) year-round or do you take breaks?
  2. When you run a cycle lets say 10-12 weeks do you pct after or just taper to trt dose?
  3. Can you take Hcg later or once you hop on Trt you need Hcg in your system?
  4. Any levels on blood work to watch out for besides Full panel?
  5. Can you take clomid on trt rather than Hcg or not?
  6. Any side supplements to recommend?
I appreciate your advise and Input.

Give it more time.

Get some good sleep for a few days, lay off the booze, eat better, then go get a test.

If you’re on TRT it’s expected you just take test for the rest of your life. I tend to think that generic statement is overblown and most guys recover fine back to their old normal a while after stopping (I have a couple times and honestly barely noticed the difference at the time). Most go back on though since their old normal had them looking for help before (as I did). Shots get tiring after a while.

TRT isn’t a cycle, its a replacement of endogenous hormones. You supply all the testosterone because your body does not make enough
so that you can live where you want to.

2. When you run a cycle lets say 10-12 weeks do you pct after or just taper to trt dose?

Again this isn’t a cycle you are using an exogenous source of testosterone year round mostly for life because your body does not produce enough. There is no reason to PCT because that would be bring back your natural production which is not high enough and is sub optimal

3. Can you take Hcg later or once you hop on Trt you need Hcg in your system?

HCG is an analogue of Luetienizing hormone which is the chemical that tells the testicles to produce sperm. Taking HCG on TRT keeps your testicles functioning, producing sperm, and keeps them from atrophying or shrinking.

4. Any levels on blood work to watch out for besides Full panel?
I believe E2 (Estradiol) RBC and Hematacrit are the main ones. Also might as well keep an eye on lipids. I could be missing some.

5. Can you take clomid on trt rather than Hcg or not?
clomid is a SERM it has small anti estrogen effects but it is usually taken for PCT. TRT doesn’t need this because you don’t come off testosterone. You might need an AI like Arimidex or letrazole to combat high e2

6. Any side supplements to recommend?
Supplements no. If you don’t want to be on TRT make sure you take omega 3 fatty acids and vit d3 if you a deficient.
I appreciate your advise and Input.
Maybe you shouldn’t consider steroids until you do a lot more research. The wiki page on r/steroids is great also Jay Cutler has some great videos on youtube about TRT and hormones/steroids in general with questions answered by a doctor.

Before I started TRT, doc had me on low dose clomid for a few months to bring up test levels. It doubled my low numbers after a while but, ultimately, doc let me decide and I chose to go trt. I was shut down pretty hard because of 19nors. I’d imagine the effects would have been significantly better should I not have used tren.

Ask your doc about the clomid.

I appreciate your reply bro, the reason why I was asking about trt and cycling off after a while was because I have an older gym partner tell me he took time off because of mental reasons and that his RBC was a lil high, and he got a docs order to give out blood which was fukin crazy ( never heard a doc give orders to “drain” blood lol)

My test levels are not shutdown but I feel like I’m fatigued/shit on many random days. On cycle with test I feel so alive literally (as cringy as it sounds) and I only get up to 200-275mg a week test e.

Just fyi its a very common recommendation to give blood if your RBC is too high. A lot of times if you have sleep apnea its like you are high altitude training in your sleep. but generally if you want decent testosterone levels TRT is for life. I still think people get off because they get tired of the injections or cost. Like I referenced before check out Jay Cutler’s youtube … type in ask the doc trt and you are looking for a Rand Mclain who is the doctor. He takes questions on TRT, hormones, training, Steroids its a really informative series. When I got prescribed TRT I basically had no info but a few xeroxed papers talking about hormone levels …basically ads for testosterone. I did most of my educating on youtube and reddit. I’m not an expert by any means but I have the basics down.

I would try very hard to restore natural production at only 22. TRT is nice but it becomes a pain in the ass after a few years. Know exactly why you need TRT before you commit to it and don’t do it without a really good reason. If you were like 50 I would suggest something else. Consider a major conflict with China that shuts down all imports. Where do you get the testosterone you need?

The main RBC marker is hematocrit which is a % of red blood cells. Hydration has a major influence on this marker. Drink until you piss crystal clear before blood work if you are concerned with this marker. Start drinking like a fish 24 hours before your draw. Being very well hydrated will lower your hematocrit and make your doctor feel better if you are going for pharma testosterone. It also makes your draw easier when you have nice full veins.

  7. All year for the rest of your life. I’m on TRT, life clinic supplies me. They started me on 200mg of Test and after 3 months raised me to 250mg, my test was 150ng/dl and now it rests at 1300ng/dl. Shots are weekly.
  8. What youre talking about is cruise and blast. Cruise would be 200-250mg weekly(which by the way, if you choose to go this route because you are still young homie, go for at least 200 minimum), and blast would be your regular cycle dose. There is no PCT, you just drop back down to your cruise dose, but especially after your cycle/blast I’d give blood.
  9. Either really. It’s gonna keep your testicles from atrophy, so mostly aesthetics and your boys will still be making boys and girls.
  10. PRIVATEMD offers a panel, I can’t remember what one it’s called but it’s the female hormone panel and it’s uncapped but for God sakes check the price. There’s one that’s like 169 dollars, the one you buy is like 73. As far as values, for real they give you the results on all of it and if your high or low on the reference range. On TRT or cycle, your LH and FSH will drop from the exogenous hormone, and your hematocrit and hemaglobin are bound to be high. Any value above 17.1 on your hematocrit, and you need to donate blood. Everything else, if it says high or low, Google it. It’s a fantastic way to keep an eye on your general health and I’d recommend getting a panel every 3-6 months.
  11. No. Wouldn’t have any benefits outside of PCT.
  12. No. There’s not really any supplements outside of your regular multi and whatever cocktail you’re usually rocking.
A couple of points. Seriously don’t go the damn doctors for test, they mostly will either deny you or screw you. My endo said 150ng was FINE at 25, even though I had every symptom of low T. I’ve read about countless men that endos have prescribed, but give super low doses, like 50mg to 200mg once every other week or every 3 weeks or month, and it leaves the men miserable in these peaks and valleys.

If you go this route, go to a vitality clinic or a life clinic, etc. They treat the symptoms and they have realistic cut off values for it to be considered low test.

Now like these gentleman are saying, you are young my dude, but give it another handful of months, let’s say 6 months max from your last cycle. If you’re test still isn’t up, at your age, I would still get on TRT. A man your age should be 700-1000ng, and I hate that I suffered as long as I did without my TRT. Let your symptoms guide whether you really need TRT or not, not the numbers. Taking your shot every week forever is a pain in the ass, literally and figuratively, but it’s not THAT bad. More so a nuisance.
