I know you can order kits that test for the presents of a specific substance so you can verify that you got what you paid for.

However, are there products to test for heavy metals and other illegal substances.

I’d like to know for example that an oral supplement is only X and doesn’t contain anything else.

No reliable form of such testing exists. There are reagent tests that can be used to attempt to interpret the presence of a particular compound, for example Roid Test and LabMax kits, however these are wholly unreliable and often encounter complete failure when faced with any common variable such as fillers in orals or difference in carrier oil used. It is likely the case that there are standard narcotics detection kits (also reagent tests) that might possibly be useful if your concern is screening for unwanted compounds, however I would preface by saying I cannot recall any time in the last decades where a narcotic was found in someone's AAS. Additionally reagent tests are generally only used as a 1st line screening tool and more thorough lab analysis is required to confirm positive results.

In the end if you want to test a product's quality you'll be best off sending a sample to a service such as the one @Janoshik offers. You'll pay for it but many sources on this board offer reimbursement for testing costs. From a harm reduction standpoint it is the most assurance you can possibly get, and the cost is fairly accessible if this is a real concern of yours. To reiterate again, I've never seen a "contamination" of narcotics or otherwise in any UGL products. Frankly even heavy metal contamination seems to largely be a myth, with zero confirmations of heavy metal detection since William Llewelyn published his book, Anabolics, which is where I believe a lot of this idea originated.
