What banks or credit cards can a person use when many of the major banks are rejecting requests for either cash deposits in exchanges or credit or debit card to buy.

My bank automatically blocks BTC exchange. I get a text message asking if this was a transaction I was aware of. I assume your bank should give you the same options.

I have to make a phone call to the fraud prevention for Verified by Visa to approve the transaction. Chase is my bank

I’m guessing you could probably just put money on a prepaid card and buy bitcoin? No dealing with that crap then.

I didn’t think of that, that’s a really good idea.

I was shut down for everything, and I did call my banks and credit cards and they refused to allow any transactions for crypto.

I called my bank and told them that I watch my account diligently. I explained that I buy a ton of things online and internationally. I told them to never block a transaction and if there was an issue with a transaction I would call them within 1 business day. Never had a problem after that call, they were sweethearts.

I have a credit union and I can’t buy at all. Someone told me to go through cash app instead of coinbase. Will try calling verified by visa next time.

No banks will block you from buying BTC. It will just trigger fraud prevention and you’ll have to verify it manually. No credit cards will allow BTC purchases anymore, but you can do a cash advance and buy BTC with it. Wouldn’t recommend.
