Benzyl Benzoate

I’m doing self diagnosed TRT at 150mg per week to improve quality of life. Since I like to know exactly what I’m putting into my body, I googled “Benzyl Benzoate”. It mentioned that it is mildly irritating to skin and is used as insect repellent.

Right now I’m using GSO of @“SouthernCompounding” which has 10% of this stuff. Do all sources use Benzyl Benzoate?

BB is basically a solvent, it provides a means of holding the testosterone in suspension at higher concentrations. It has a very low viscosity.

Both BB and Benzyl Alcohol are added. BA added to lower the risk of bacterial contamination.

Both of these can be cytotoxic at higher concentrations.

For my own brews I don’t use any BB, instead using Mig840 for the lower viscosity allowing more hormone to hold in suspension. BB is nasty stuff, put a drop of it on your tongue and you’ll see why I don’t like the stuff going into my body.

BA is just about a must for those sourcing to the public, at 2% it helps lower the chances of bacteria growing in your vials. I would personally recommend heating any vials before first time use on a candle warmer for 45 minutes to insure any microbial life is completely killed due to heat at 145 F.

I brew for myself without BA using small 5ml vials, smaller vials so it’s used quickly in a few weeks, no chance of contamination causing bacterial growth.

Southern Compounding does a good job of creating a brew that doesn’t cause pip. I’ve used a lot of his gear and have lots of it on hand and never had a problem as long as I stick to the cypionate and acetate esters.

BB is standard among just about all sources, it’s not absolutely necessary, but it would force them to brew at lower concentrations, for a homebrewer like myself that’s fine, I just inject more, for the public that’s not gonna work.

Do you have blood work showing your high sensitivity C-reactive protein markers? Would be interested in seeing it while you’re using mig840.

Not op but I do, during a blast of test and eq in mig

Serum Proteins
C Reactive Protein 0.4 range : <5.0 mg/L

Assuming you heard this from that coach steve guy? Only ever heard him say this, never seen it anywhere else online.

Yes thank you. None of the people I know either have The blood work or use mig or EO. Trying to get a hold of people’s bloodwork that do use them so I can see for myself what’s going on. I’ve seen the bloodwork from his clients that did use them, and they were definitely out of range. Interesting topic for me.

I’m assuming heavy metals.

I’d recommend asking the same question in Deus’ thread as the majority of his stuff is in mig, might find more bloods there.

BB is used by big pharma in Rx injection medicines. Sources usually model their recipes after this. I have not seen one source that does not use BB in their recipes. As stated, it is a solvent and used as such. Remember, drinking water can kill you too if done in excess.

BA is used to prevent microbial growth. It will not kill present microbes but does prevent their reproduction. Currently I know of zero sources or big pharma that do not use BA.

Endotoxin removal, widely done by way of ultra filtration or reverse osmosis, is typically not done on oils, but is done for things like HGH manufacturing as it is a water carried medicine.
