If storage outside home isn’t an option of course.
After some discussion about the thoroughness of police searches (here in Germany anyways) I’ve learned they’re not going to tear your place apart unless they’ve a very good reason, so no taking apart of furniture or ripping cupboards off the wall to check for caches in the wall etc. Don’t even check cellar rooms sometimes but I wouldn’t bet on that.
A classic would probably be storage in food containers, and if effort isn’t a factor, a cache behind some furniture not easily moveable seems decent, but perhaps there are easier ways I’m not thinking of.
If this thread is a bad idea for some reason, please get rid of it.
