Tore my bicep tendon today. After surgery I’m contemplating using bpc157 and tb500 to speed up healing process. Anyone got any other suggestions to expedite the healing process?

Any luck with the recovery? Which end did you tear? I tore my proximal bicep tendon last week. Meeting with surgeon again to see options. But I plan on running gh, bpc157 and tb500 for recovery. Any insight into this would be great!

Fully healed! Had a full distal tendon tear. They had to go in an re anchor it to the bone. The day I got out of surgery I started it. I did bicep site injection an IM and didn’t notice a difference in anyway. The site injection kinda stung tho lol.

Day out of surgery I front loaded 10mg of tb 500 . Then I took 5mg every mon weds an fri for 6 weeks.

For the Bpc-157 I front loaded 1000mg then took 300mg every day for 6 weeks.

Gh was only 2IU a day mon-Fri

That’s good to hear. What was your timeline for recovery. I’m two week post op. Have most of my rom back in shoulder. Been running 3iu gh everyday. 1mg tb everyday and 500bpc everyday. Seems to be helping

I was back in the gym lifting the same week, but I wasn’t using that arm until week 7. Started with light bands for curls, and high volume pressing work. By week 12 I was back to heavy pressing and heavier pulling work for back. Week 16 started deadlifting an heavy back work.

BFR (blood flow restriction) training seems to help, or at least it did in my case when I tore my triceps. Worked anecdotally for me and on paper it definitely makes sense. I used a lashing strap (like $5 off amazon) and just used light loads and high volume. Just enough to get a lot of blood and nutrients in there to facilitate the healing process.
