So I’m trying to learn more about this Bitcoin stuff. Cause I want to start investing… But I’m trying to understand more about it. When I go to that preev site…it shows the current value at $3579. But then when I go to buy Bitcoin thru the cash app. It says the standard…you confirm to buy…however much I’m buying at this rate…and it’s $3625. Even looking on Google the rate is the $3579…so why would the cash app have such a difference? They are a no fee service.

Even the BlockChain app is showing the lower amount as well… Does the CashApp just have lagging rates?

Check out kraken, Gemini, binance etc. Those are buying and selling platforms. Those fluctuate based on local demands and supply. It also varies based on county sometimes. The best thing you can do is find an app that averages. I use Coinmarketcap, delta, and my other portfolio investing apps.

Long story short, no matter where you check it’ll be a bit different, but close most of the time.

Coindesk is good as well.

That’s how they make money. They mark it up slightly. Same when you sell you won’t get the spot price you’ll get a bit less.
