Hey gents, question for the more veterans, and Ifbb guys really..
so it looks to me like for some of the more popular competitors, “ Steve, Cook, Jeff Seid, Brandon Hendrickson, ect..for the lot of them the general timeframe from zero to hero is about four years ,given you’ve already had some adequate experience in the gym of course. . My question for everybody here is’ do you think they’re blasting & cruising for the whole four years or do you think they’re just cycling during prep & natty for the rest of the time? I’ve been blasting and cruising for about a year and I look great. My health markers are OK, but going into the next year or so I’m wondering if I should continue to blastN Cruz or if I should cycle off PCT for six months to a year and only continue to cycle for Prep? I know that can be more of a personal decision, but in your opinion, I’d like to know what you think the main players are doing???
Thanks

If a pro claims they aren't on test year round, they are absolutely lying to you imo. I know a couple pros, one who is incredibly gifted who basically runs 400/400 test/primo year round with low(ish) dose GH and adds 'slin and IGF1 when he's bulking, that's it besides some TNE/Drol pwo when I can peer pressure him into a heavy PL style day. The other one blasts grams of gear for long periods of time and "cruises" on 500mg test.

The idea of "coming off" and PCTing is a thing of the past. There is no reason to remove the exogenous hormones from your body and spend six months recovering your natural levels only to regain them just in time to start using again. The whole time you're off, you're potentially losing progress you made during the time you spent on. Two steps forward for one step back.

Nowadays the prevailing usage model is to slowly escalate test with an anabolic like primo/mast/eq with HGH and insulin over a period of months as food and training volume and intensity are escalated. Then go to HRT of trt test with a low dose anabolic and low dose HGH when the toxicity of the dosage has created deleterious health effects. This health phase continues until its time to either mass again or enter contest prep.
