Hey guys! I want to know what tests you guys request when doing blood work to monitor your levels while on. How long do you wait after starting a cycle before doing blood work? Also, is there a place you guys recommend using? Thanks for the help!

It depends on what you are looking to test. Is this your first cycle? And what are you on?

Cap’s recommendation is pretty spot on, but you might want to check Prolactin too depending on what you are on.

Cap’s recommendation is pretty spot on, but you might want to check Prolactin too depending on what you are on.

Looking to test Estradiol, total and free testosterone as well as lipids. Just to make sure all the necessary things are in check to create a happy environment to grow while keeping sides in check. It is my first cycle of 400 mg of Test Eas well as 12.5 mg of Aromasin eod. I was just a bit overwhelmed with the amount of blood tests offered that I needed guidance. Cap definitely sent me in the right direction. Thank you for your reply

There’s a few other things too (THyroid, IGF) but they aren’t as important to monitor on a Test cycle.

Or you can take Cap’s recommendation and add what you want to it, that is always an option.

I’m curious. When you do get the lab work done, do you have to pay a fee to Quest also, or is that all covered in the fees to either Privatemdlabs or Discounted labs? If you have insurance, should you tell Quest not to charge your insurance?

You just pay the privatemdlabs, print out the paper and just take it to quest/labcorp and then you will get an email about results days later. Insurance is not asked at all.

Thanks. I usually get my blood done from Quest, however it goes through my insurance. So the Quest cost is covered in the fee from the lab. Interesting.
