What tests would I need for a Test/Tren cycle? I know the tren makes the e2 readings extremely high. Does it also affect testosterone readings? Thanks for any info.

What I personally did, was this test :
https://www.privatemdlabs.com/lab_tests.php?view=category_result&show=2573&category=14&search=#2573
So that I have both sensitive e2 and test over 1500, and then added the lipid panel seperately.
https://www.privatemdlabs.com/lab_tests.php?view=all&show=701&category=2&search=#701
With 10% off, that came out to 145 which isnt bad at all.
This test but I would also def include prolactin if running tren.

OP just make sure you get e2 sensitive and prolactin and uncapped test (LC/MS-MS). These are the important ones to make sure your hormones are where you want them. Lipids and liver values and all that are important to have too for a general health check but 100% check those 3 hormones I listed.

SIDE NOTE: I just ran some mid cycle bloods for my first tren cycle.

Is there anything in bloodwork that would show up that is particular to tren? That could determine if it is under dosed/over dosed or bunk?

I was going to post this in the ‘dumb questions’ thread but this seemed like a fine place.

MAYBE high prolactin could indicate that it’s a 19-nor (tren or deca), but this also assumes you weren’t taking caber/prami already. Plus people respond very differently to prolactin sides, and it isn’t unusual to not need caber even at doses around 500mg/week.

I got mid cycle bloods on Winters tren and my prolactin was way above range at only 400/week, but I also have friends that stay in range at the same dose. YMMV

You could always get a non-sensitive e2 test to see whether its bunk or not. Tren will give a false high e2 reading

@“JPelle” & @“Curli”

I got both the prolactin lab and sensitive e2.

My prolactin was only 2 points above maximum range, however I have no prolactin benchmark as I’ve never taken that test before. I’m takign 150mg P5P a day but nut using and not planning on taking caber unless my nips start to leak. No signs of high prolactin.

E2 was perfectly in the high end of range but I’m taking a micro dose of AI, basically my same TRT protocol so nothing changed.

AST and ALT were a little elevated but not like double or triple, and I’m using var too.

I know my Tren isn’t bunk, but what’s pretty wild is I could probably pass my bloodwork labs with my TRT clinic while being on tren and I don’t think it would even raise suspiction with my doctor, except the AST. He doesn’t test prolactin.

I get enough mild side from the tren (50mg/ED) that I know it’s g2g, the source here is verified. Was a curiousity with how it effects blood, when you are on test, so many obvious differentials, you cannot hide it from a doctor.

thanks guys!
