I was working 12 sometimes 14 hour days 5 days a week and then another job doing 8 a day on the weekends for a year straight. Went from 200 lbs to 245 so yes you can, you just have to be able to do what it takes. Make sure you have all your food prepared and packed each day, if you do not do this you are setting yourself up for failure. Make sure you get some decent sleep and you’ll grow. The key thing here is your food being with you at all times

I work 12-24+ hours a day. I just go to the gym tired or right after I wake up before I get called back to work.

It sucks a lot but it’s doable

I consistently put in 80-90 hours per week, and during storm or fire seasons, it can spike up to 110 hours. It's undeniably challenging, and it does mean sacrificing some gym time, but it's all for a good reason. My job as a lineman keeps me active in the field, especially when it involves heavy lifting. To keep up, I emphasize the importance of fueling your body, so it's crucial to plan your diet and meal prep. Food is what will get you through your work day let alone your workout so don’t skip this step it’s very important especially working long hours. Bringing your gym gear with you is a great idea; although I struggle with it myself, I prefer to shower after work and then hit the gym personally. Be careful for any lethargy from any AAS you’re taking as this can affect your day to day life at work.

I keep my gym gear in the trunk along with a set of clean clothes. I still feel weird rinsing off before lifting at the gym but it can help you wake up and get ready.

Sure thing, I’m 6’5 weighing 225 currently. BF is around 10%. In terms of arm size that’s a good question that I haven’t personally measured in a while but if I get a chance later today I’ll add that to this comment. I’m a pretty tall guy so at that weight it’s decent but I’d like to be more around 235 maybe 240.

Damn, without giving too much away what kind of work? Here I am working 3am til maybe noon and I have been a lazy bitch
I am a Conductor for Union Pacific. If I work 1 hour or 12 hours I can be called back in 10 hours. If I work for 12:01 I get an extra minute of rest for each minute after 12.

The bad part about the job is wake up at 4am go to work finish everything by 10am get called back at 8pm and work a 12+ hour day.

So far my longest day was 36 hours before I got off work. We can’t do anything after 12 hours because hours of service laws. But that also doesn’t mean they have to come get you. They will make you sit on that train till they can call another crew and get them to you.

If you ever see a train go by hauling hazmat at 70mph there is a chance that neither person controlling that train has slept in the last 24 hours and they are trying to eliminate one of us so you can’t keep each other awake. That’s why it seems like I never sleep based off my post times. Partially why we tried to strike last year.

Edit: here is an example from Wednesday the first. Went in at 4am got off by 9:30am and got called back at 7:30pm the same night.

Pays good and you can’t beat the retirement if you live long enough to see it.
