Car insurance question

So some fuck broke into my car thru my backwindshield last night no idea how I didn’t hear it or the alarm , already called made claims and shit it seems to be all a fucking waiting game now. Is insurance gonna just cover my windshield and interior damage or are they likely to cover the subwoofer and Amp?

Do you have comprehensive on your policy? If so, it should cover everything. Comprehensive covers damage sustained from non collision damages. I had a system jacked some years back and they covered

@Jswole99 your comprehensive will cover the windshield and car damage AFTER you pay your deductible. Sometimes windows aren’t even worth it. Deductible $500 window only $400 so no reason to file a claim.

Unless you separately covered your stuff in the car and accessories I don’t think they cover that. That would usually fall to your renters or homeowners policy again subject to deductible…

Insurance is such a rip off man. I’m salty if you can’t tell lol

@Jswole99 Hopefully they cover you brother, but don’t be surprised if they fuck you. We went through a storm where I live a few months ago. I’m paying for another roof on my. house for the 2nd time in a little over a year.

When ins covered my stereo when it got stolen, it was a long time ago. Maybe things were different back then. Hope it works out for you

@Truckertrash13 much appreciated my G time shall tell I was talking with the cousin bout it he’s thinking I’m gonna come out basically right where I was and just have it fixed best case come out on top. I’m just ready for it to be fixed already lol gonna have to get the fucker re tinted too.

And a good percentage of Americans don’t have $500 auto insurance deductibles anymore, Their $1000+. At least if you want a semi affordable policy….

So many people pay for homeowners or renters insurance on time for decades then when a hurricane or tornado hits the insurance companies leave everyone high and dry. It happened to hundreds of thousands of people during Katrina, Yet these insurance companies see no legal ramifications for scamming people. Even when the fine print rules in the homeowners favor.
