Cold sores on blast

I’ve gotten cold sores ever since I was a kid. Usually 1-2 a year. When I did my first blast last year over the course of 3 months I had 5-6. Now on this blast again I’ve had my 3rd in 7 weeks. Any idea what’s up or any preventative measures I could try? This makes me not want to blast anymore.

Really tho I hear aberva works really well if you catch it early.

Use antiviral medication. I got prescribed Valacyclovir for them online thru Roman Health for like $40 (included 3 month supply of medication too)

How easy was the process for you? I just went through the steps and it seems a little too good to be true

Cold sore frequency went way down once I started gear. I’d get 3-4 a year, now I may get one a year. Even then its really mild.

It’s incredibly simple. These companies are common these days they have been doing this online prescription/doctor consultation stuff for years now. It’s legit. They are just limited on the type of medications they will prescribe.

Process: I created an account on their website, got a phone call about 48 hours later from a doctor. He asked me my name and birthdate and said I was good to go and hungup. Got an email saying I needed to submit payment for the prescription to ship. Had it within 2 days from when I made payment.

Lysine. There’s an inverse relationship with lysine and arginine and cold sores. Lysine prevents them while arginine acts as a trigger. Really easy to just supplement with 1000mg lysine a day.

I do the lysine daily. Also have a script for an antiviral. Just seems weird that when I blast I have a crazy amount of outbreaks. Was wondering if they were tied to each other

Cold sores in my experience are due to, in order of causation: stress, food, and excessive sun exposure (another form of stress).

Stress causes most but there are some heavy food triggers loaded with arginine like beer chocolate and nuts. On blast it’s possible your diet changes to include a negative ratio of alkaline to arginine. It’s also possible the training (stress) increases so much as to activate the virus.

Not sure otherwise. Mine have naturally decreased with age, and on blast/cruise I get them less and they aren’t big ever. I used to take medicine but now I just let my body handle it and I don’t give a shit anymore if I have one.
