Coming off cycle/gear

So I obvIously We all know You lose weight when you come off, but why? Why in the sense of if I continue to eat the same caloric surplus why will I lose Weight? I understand The hormone support the increase muscle mass so I guess my real question would be where does the excess calories that was once adding weight go? That kind of Segways into my next question of I can Get fucking huge fast on high doses of test but when I go To cruise it’s almost like i just completely stopped gear lose a lot of size but I keep My strength, does someone else have this issue ? Because tbh it’s the reason I’ve pretty much been blasting for the past 4 years and now 1g of test is like bare minimum, I’m about to order and ton of growth and get on lantus with a cruise dose of test and hope but that’s my last hope.

When you come off high Test, one of the first things to go will be the water weight from your muscles. High Test makes your muscles hold more glycogen then normal. When you are not on High Test, your muscles hold a normal amount of glycogen, so you are carrying around less water and will be lighter.

If you eat at a caloric surplus, you can still gain weight (both muscle and fat) even if you are not on high Test. Your baseline will just be lower (i.e. if you drop from 230 to 200 from lowering Test, then 200 is your baseline weight). Comparing your high Test weight to your bulking normal/lower Test weight is not a good comparison.

And IMO, save the growth for when you are back on high Test. IIRC, studies showed that it does not increase muscle mass growth when you are not on AAS, though the other benefits are still there (hunger, better sleep, better skin, etc.).

What are your goals here, and how much do you care about your hair and liver?

I think @“DNPstoney” covered most everything, but in the interest of completeness what are your goals? And how much do you care about your hairline?
Obviously a guy at 150 is going to have different approaches to a guy at 250, and you strike me as a guy closer to the latter.

Well I was Taking 6iu a day of growth with 1g of tren 500mg test a week 30-60 units of lantus everyday superdrol cialis, but I had To stop the hgh because my job requires my hands and the CTS was a fucking bitch and almost 4 months later I stilL have some pain but I just Started at 6iu and ran it like that through, stupid I know But I got Pretty heavy most lifts were well over 600lbs but I heard Running go while cruising will maintain the mass you have

Yeah goals are to reach 300lbs and compete, I was at 250 at 6’3 6-7% bodyfat I can Take as much gear as I want And still have a full head of hair also

When I said I wouldn’t use GH while not on cycle, it was because GH is expensive so personally I wouldn’t be able to run 6iu indefinitely, and I would get more out of it by using it on cycle. If price is no issue for you, or you have different priorities (and it seems you have been running GH for a while so you know what you are talking about), it would be fine to run while not blasting.

And your goals are honestly much higher than mine; I am no where near 300lbs, and getting anywhere near that weight isn’t a goal for me, since competing isn’t as well. Your questions are going to be very specific, and hard to answer since you are in the top percentile of people using gear, and so your situation isn’t as common.

But yeah, most of the weight when you drop Test down is going to be water weight. Which is why your strength might not decrease by that much; but the total amount of volume you can push in a session will probably go down.
