Only 3 weeks into a Var + 200mg Test Cyp ‘cycle’ but I bumped the var up from 50mg to 75mg daily and have noticed great strength improvements. I’ve gone from 190 > 204lbs and have never been over 200lbs. The problem is, I’m not all that lean.
I was about 19% bodyfat prior to this cycle, which isn’t ideal, I know. That’s part of the reason I’m keeping my Test Cyp at 200mg per week. My fat centers around my gut. I think this is because I was a heavy drinker prior to turning my shit around like 4 months ago. When I finish my cut cycle, I’d like to have at least 12% body fat.
My question is, should I aggressively cut calories while preserving the muscle in the gym with lifts… or should I worry about cutting later? I think the anavar would help shed fat easier while on it if I went into a massive cut.
I am already doing a quick HIIT session after my workout and also walking outside a couple days a week. What would you all recommend?
Edit: I am on TRT, and have been gaining good strength while on Anavar.
