Did I misunderstand or should I be upset? Paid for domestic received from China

I paid for ‘domestic’ but the shipment came from China and wound up needing a signature.

All went well, but I’m left wondering-

Why did I pay the higher domestic rates? Should I be upset? Or is this somehow a thing I didn’t realize?

One of the most respected ‘raw’ providers used on here.

How long did the shipping take? Did u have to sign for pack? If under 5 days n no signature required…does it matter where it came from? If longer or had to sign for it…gives u more ammo in negotiations with source. Either way u have a valid case against the source. U paid domestic premium to avoid customs, quicker shipping, n having to sign for package.

Jesus this was on point. I had Karl do that to me 3 times before it finally dawned on me that maybe it wasn’t an accident lol. Their tablets were great, but Karl is a POS
