Diluting testosterone to a lower concentration

Looking to dilute some pharma test C from 200mg/ml, down to 50mg/ml. It’s in cottonseed oil, so I’ll probably just use more CSO to dilute it.

Is it as simple as just filtering the appropriate amount of CSO into a vial of testosterone in order to achieve my desired concentration?

Do I need to heat it a bit in order for it to mix evenly? Any need to add BA/BB since there will only be a small amount present in the vial after mixing?

The sterile CSO alone will be fine. Lower concentrations will hold easier so no need for additional BB/BA.

Just out of curiosity, what’s the purpose of this? I have pharma Test in CSO for my prescription and it’s absolutely painless at 200mg/ml.

Yup! It is just that simple, and for reference you don’t necessarily need to use cotton seed (though there’s obviously no reason not to, I just know some people have a harder time getting sterile CSO than others) - I mix carrier oils all of the time.

Cool thanks. My concern was more with assuring that there’s enough bacteriostatic preservative in the vial, rather than whether or not it’ll hold in solution. Good to know though thank you.

I’d be doing this so my wife’s TRT dose could be drawn with greater accuracy. Even with a 0.3ml insulin syringe it’s still difficult to accurately draw up doses in the single digit milligrams. A few milligrams in either direction isn’t a problem at all when dealing with typical male doses, but it makes a huge difference when dealing with the comparatively minuscule doses that many women use.

Right on, thanks man. Maybe I’ll use GSO or something instead. Just wasn’t sure if the different oil densities/viscosities would prevent a homogeneous mixture. Sounds like it’ll be just fine though.

Just an FYI if she’s on trt a doctor will prescribe test at a lower concentration. Tons of pharma test dosed at 100mg/ml, even 50mg/ml. Compounding pharmacy’s are a thing too.

Yea we’re aware of that route, this is just a lot more convenient.
