Yes allot in ig. It's because your phone is sending information on your searches and whatever you talk about.

For fun, start taking about midgets for a few minutes. You'll start getting ads for midget wrestling in your area.

I never understood the appeal of social media. I don't have any, none. I don't want people in my business and I don't care Joe Smith from high school got his nursing degree.

Same thing with Amazon. My wife was talking about a medical product used by the military called quikclot the other day. She goes on Amazon a day or two later and there's an ad for quikclot.

To me, that's scary.

Not only that. But I see it as a privacy/security issue. Why would I want people seeing where I'm on vacation to, seeing pictures of my children, our home layout, what car is parked in the background, ect.

Imagine they hit you with a flat out post onto your wall “hey dude thanks so much for your order!” Your racist uncle sees it and comments the sunglasses smile emoji

It's nice in small circles but the whole public oversharing bit is retarded. I keep up with other guys who compete in a few groups on FB to keep my training knowledge up to date, and the messaging functions are nice because if you just have a wifi-able phone you don't need to pay a phone plan anymore to just freely use those which saves money and takes out some of your digital footprint in a way. The people who leave all their shit public and post every second of their life and want thousands or milliions of friends/followers however are absolutely retarded.
