Favorite blood panel to get

Wondering what blood panels you guys prefer for overall health and test levels.

Was looking at labsmd and privatemdlabs

From a purely health aspect.

PSA twice a year(at least once a year)
CBC - hgb/hct, red cell indices if you have to phlebotomize frequently for high hct.
Testosterone LC/MS-MS -uncapped >1500ng/dl
Lipid profile - Keep an eye on LDL, total cholesterol.
Chem panel - kidney/liver function.
Estradiol Sensitive - if you use an AI.
Ferritin - if you have to phlebotomize frequently due to high hct.

I always have to add tests for my PMDLabs order.

^ I like those, with the addition of Forgoing the traditional lipid panel and recommend one get an “NMR Lipoprofile” or the comparable test at quest(believe it is called Cardio IQ).

Thanks I didn’t even know about ferritin, got high hct from eq and stopped usage of it and it lowered. Googled the test and it would have interesting to see at the time

Is there any bundle pack that does the hormone panel (general blood panel + E2, Test, FSH/LH) along with lipid profile/chem panel? It’s quite expensive to buy them individually off privatemdlabs.

You may have to get a few different bundles to get everything you want. Private blood work isn’t cheap. Personalabs accepts HSA funds if you got one of those.
