I mean, when I pull back blood I re-pin, but Idk what the literature says to do. It’s like a 1 in 100 pins thing, if it happens every time (and bothers you) you may wanna reconsider a new site since you likely have a saturation of veins in that specific area you’re injecting

I stopped aspirating years ago, when I hit a vein I feel it, and when some blood gets in the pin I’m guessing it’s from going through some capillaries.

Lol really unlikely you will hit a vein when doing an im injection. Just inject slow and if you are in a vein, you will just caugh a little bit

Yeah, I wouldn’t worry about it. When doing an IM injection correctly your biggest concern would be going through a vein, which in itself is still not a big deal. I’ve hit a vein before, you feel a pinch, you go “oh, that sucks” and keep pushing past it. What’s done is done, you can’t unstick the vein. And, if by chance you do inject into a vein, so what… You’ll cough a little bit (unless it’s Tren, then you’ll practically die from coughing), it’ll leave a bruise, and you’ll have a little blood dribble out.
I don’t even aspirate anymore, no need, because it doesn’t change anything. I’m not going to pull the needle out, replace it with a new clean one and retry. As a matter of fact they don’t even teach you to aspirate in nursing school anymore, IM or SubQ.

It’s fairly easy to tell if you’re actually in a vein when you push on the plunger of the syringe, so it’s unlikely you’ll accidentally inject much into one, especially if you’re using a needle of 1/2" or greater. It’s pretty common to prick a vein on the way in or get blood leftover from scar tissue or something, but that doesn’t mean you’re injecting into the actual vein.

When I get blood in the syringe. I just repin and re aspirate. It’s usually very rare I get blood. Also I am like u about being paranoid. I aspirate 2 or 3 times before pushing in. Lol

I don’t aspirate anymore. I notice if I’m hitting a location too often it increases the (minimal) chance of tren cough.

Avoid quads - too many blood geysers.

aspiration is pointless. you can FEEL when you hit a vein. IM injections are usually painless but when I plug a vein it’s a decently painful pinch.

Often times with 1 inch needles you’re penetrating both sides of the vein (if you do hit a vein). but stick to recommended pin sites and you shouldn’t have any issues.

Once my needle goes in, that’s that… LOL. Once time recently though I did go too DEEP into my Quad and it caused bad PIP for like 6 days. There is a sweet spot where it’s not too shallow or you’ll get subQ pain, which is BAD… Just gotta find that medium level of deepness in your muscles. Every one is different.

You inject, aspirate, if blood, pull out, repin. Basic proven medical injection technique. U do not want an oil bolus in your lung.

Ive only ever pinned my quads, never really had any problems, but the last month has been a shit show. Im 4/4 in hitting a vein or nerve. If i hit one i still inject, dont really care if it gets in the vein. Only one time i accidentally injected straight into the vein and it made me nauseous and lightheaded for a minute.
