Fertility & Defect Potential?

Hello All...
I've done lots of reading lately about fertility. I've been on TRT doses for about 6-8 mo, but currently running 400mg/wk Test-Cyp. I'm mostly clear about Clomid/HCG either on TRT(200mg/wk for me) or to kick start things as a PCT for some off time.
My main question for which I couldn't find much, if any, information about is potential for birth defects as a result of taking Testosterone(or other hormones)?
The only data I could find discussed issues for women taking Test, which definitely has birth defect potential. Obviously running a fertility protocol should get my boys swimming again, but my wife has been asking if there could be problems or increased potential for a mutant baby?
I would really appreciate any input or even a point in the right direction to get a better understanding?

Thanks Much... Really looking forward...

Speaking for myself: I’ve been using gear for 22 years, I’m now 41. The only anabolic I’ve not done is halo test. No recreational drugs and little alcohol. I’ve got 2 boys, 4 and 1 year old. I was on test when both were conceived. I got my wife pregnant right away both times no issues. Both of them are 💯 healthy / perfect.
I know some guys with the same story. Probably more gear than me.

Don’t over think it, it’ll drive you crazy worrying!
Obviously no one wants a child with special needs or extra fingers or deformities of any sort.

Where’s JDlift? He’s touched on this before.

I began TRT at 29 in April 2020, blasted test and tren around October 2020 through January 2021, and managed to get my wife pregnant in February 2021 (baby is mine as confirmed by paternity test, lol). I knew tren was very suppressive, and being new to the world of blasting and cruising, I was suspicious whether the baby was mine, but my wife understood my concerns and agreed to the test. Anyways, we now have an almost one year old boy that has no defects, AND, we're expecting another baby boy due April 2023 which oddly enough was conceived when I was running tren. Also, it should be noted, that I have religiously been taking HCG since I began taking AAS. I do 500iu EOD.

Thanks very much. This definitely confirmed my thoughts about HCG. I have clomid on hand, but going to also get HCG. My congrats and all my best with your one on the way!

Yes, I'm the king of overthinking. Just these couple replies has put my mind more at ease. I'm going to start hcg/clomid and see what happens. Of I have to cycle off I guess I will but although everyone is different, it sounds like it's worth a shot first.
My best to you and your family, thanks for sharing

I would say it’s probably not a cause for concern. The thing that increases the likelihood of birth defects is a highly oxidative internal milieu. Anabolics can certainly contribute to this if you run highly toxic compounds (think Tren, superdrol, Anadrol, etc.). With test alone you should be fine.

I’d recommend supplementing with plenty of antioxidants like glutathione, NAC, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, etc.

My old friend had a baby this year and he's been on gear forever. Everything under the sun.

Made me worry cause I was under the assumption I was fried and def dropped a lot of loads in randoms lol
