Filtering some gear for peace of mind. The syringe filters have a luerlock on the syringe side, but a slip tip on the other end. The sterile vials come individually packaged and capped already with stopper/aluminum ring/plastic flip cover.

Will attaching a 18-22g work on the slip tip end to filter through the vial’s rubber stopper work? Or will this cause issues of popping off?

If not, what’s the proper way? Trying to keep pressure/vacuum etc.

Luer-slip syringes can also be called 'luer fitting' syringes. The syringe needles, if stated have a luer lock fitting, can be used with both syringes with Luer Lok and those with Luer slip fittings.

Just wondering if anybody else filters their oil? Switching from pharmacy grade so a little paranoid.
