This is my first time touching any anabolic. I am 24 years old. So at the time of writing I am 2 days from 13 weeks on testosterone enanthate. I pin every 3 days 150mg so 300mg a week. My testosterone level is 52 nmol so converted to ng/dl is 1500. I want to cut my dosage in half so 75mg every 3 days so 150 a week. I'm hoping to get a high normal or just a bit above the reference range. I don't take anything else. I have not noticed any side effects other than a few acne dots on my upper back. I got some bloodwork done and I'll attach it. I'm almost certain I didn't get the proper bloodwork needed when on testosterone.

Will I be fine cutting the dosage in half and continuing on 75mg every 3 days?

My other concern is what specifically should I test for in bloodwork to see if I'm staying relatively healthy while taking testosterone. If you could list what needs to be done for bloodwork when on testosterone that would be very reassuring for me and helpful.

The last question is really about longevity. I saw some forums people say take HCG while on test for something about natural test production. I'm 13 weeks in and I never took anything other than test. Am I screwed? Should I just do cycles of Test instead of just cruising indefinitely? The reason I have these thoughts is I'm only 24 and I feel one day when I'm older I might want kids. I don't want a doctor to tell me test all those years screwed my chances of having kids.

yes absolutely 150mg a week is a solid cruise
i started gear at 19 and ive never used hcg or anything, ive come off and been tested etc bur just test levels and general health
ive cruised on anywhere between 125 a week to 200
i figure the challenges with potential complications just come with the territory

my point is you’re absolutely not screwed
the chance one test cycle destroyed your ability to have kids is tiny
but if youre extremely concerned just avoid opening the can of worms

I want to stay on year round. I feel if I take 150 a week I will have stable bloods and is better for me than cycling and spiking bloods every time. Just hoping staying on year round for 5 10 15 20 years won't be devastating.

Gonna be honest man if you don't even understand the basic uses of HCG you probably shouldn't be dabbling in gear. That being said it is never too late to incorporate HCG use to maintain testicular function and size. As far as biomarkers I would get to stay healthy LDL, HDL, Apo B, ALT, AST, ALP, GGT, BUN, E2, SHBG, RBC, Hematocrit, Total test using LC-MS/MS, Free test using equilibrium dialysis, CRP. I would also recommend getting urine testing strips as it can be a quick and easy way to somewhat monitor kidney and liver heath without getting bloodwork done (the markers here aren't many so don't use this as a replacement for bloodwork). There are many other biomarkers to look at so I suggest you add on to what I have so long as you have the money to get the blood work regularly and continue learning about how steroids and your body works.

Also look at getting sperm count / sperm morphology and motility measured.

My TRT has been 65 mg twice a week for about a decade. It only gets me into the middle level of normal range, but I feel fine, good libido, my dick works, etc.

I know some guys like higher numbers so to each their own.

@Shaba
whats middle of normal levels? Around 600?
125 put me around 1050 and 200 had me a little over 1300
It depends a lot on the person it seems
I know a guy who says he uses 300 and doesnt even break 800 which sounds insane

Honestly insane to be considering cruising at 24 with hopes to have kids. What happened to cycling and PCT when you're worried about fertility?

Yep.

I'm not as strict as some members here about how many days to wait between last injection and the blood test. So it's a rough estimate.

I'm like a 1 in 500 million situation. I have a degenerative muscle disease since I was 15. It just keeps progressing and I'm at a point where I'll do anything to save my life. I've seen every specialist and done every type of test to no prevail. I'm not some idiot that would just hop on test for the hell of it even though I had normal test levels and haven't reached peak muscle naturally. My goal is to restore function even if it's exogenous, again to literally save my life. Sorry for the sad story it's just want you to know the truth of why I'm doing what I'm doing.

Thank you so much for the honesty. I'll look into this for sure. I'm not taking anything other than test. I'm only doing this to combat a unknown degenerative muscle disease. My muscle function is constantly decreasing for almost 10 years. I'm only trying to restore function if possible to live longer and try to be a man my family and friends can be proud of.

You're right cycling would be best but in my situation. I've explained my situation in other responses but in terms of fertility, I might have to just accept having kids in the future might not be possible for me. 300mg of test a week did help me a lot in terms of gaining function, energy and even got better sleep. All around it was the only thing that significantly helped me out of all the useless prescriptions and many therapies I've tried. Sorry for the confusion. I'm a bit lost myself.

I’m not a doctor, but you haven’t been using that long, dude. If I were you, I’d hop in 500 IU EOD and keep an AI on hand in case of estrogenic symptoms. You’ll probably gain fertility back eventually. If you haven’t already gotten a semen analysis as well, that would be the best place to start.

So I tried enanthate every 3 days into my outer thighs and 2 times my leg hurt so much I couldn't walk for a week and didn't heal until 2 weeks later. I was out of my part time job and couldn't do anything. The pain was brutal. So since than I decided I'll switch to cypionate since I would only do once a week and only gonna do in the glutes from now on since that hasn't happened when I injected in glutes. I'm sticking a needle into degenerative muscle fibers so I'm not shocked but I have to work around it if possible. If you're referring to taking HCG to keep testicle function I probably wouldn't be able to because injecting is super hard for me. Takes a long time to inject itself due to pain and I wouldn't have any sites to rotate with other than glutes which will be used once a week each glute for cypionate.

Have you tried auto injectors? They keep the needle still for those hard to get places. Once it stabs, you press the plunger. I never used it but it came up on a feed on social media.

That sucks, man. I’ve got lupus among many other chronic health problems that I have had to treat through my own means of self experimentation to a large extent. I am in daily chronic pain. It sucks ball sacks, but I understand some of what you are saying.

I was referring to HCG, though. The good thing about HCG is that it is in an aqueous solution and can be used with a very fine gauge and short needle, such as a 31 gauge, 5/16 inch insulin syringe and it doesn’t have to be injected into muscle. It is meant to be used subcutaneously. Just HCG alone can raise testosterone levels up to 300 ng/dl in a lot of people. It raises mine close to 250 ng/dl just by itself.

Thighs are a horrible place to inject. It makes me cringe to think about it. That is the only area that I’ve ever had any sort of PIP from any compound I used.

holy shit man
fuck worrying about fertility, you know how many guys blast and cruise for years on grams of shit before using some hcg and whatever else to have kids? If a guy like thor or dan green can have kids, youre fine.
Do what you feel like you gotta do, i mean youre kinda the reason gear exists.
