As the title says.

What are some things a guy can do to combat the bad cholesterol markers that accompany orals such as Anavar, etc?

Nothin will counteract orals. Orals kill cholesterol but generally speaking cardio, some healthy fats, fiber is a big one most neglect, a decent supplement would be citrus bergamont.

Fiber with all your meals and cardio. Amazon sells a supplement that’s red yeast rice, niacin, and coq10 that has really helped me keep my lipids in check. 1200-2400mgs red yeast rice (be sure to supplement coq10 as even the natural statin will deplete your coq10). 1000mgs citrus bergamot, 500mgs berberine, and maybe even carderine but be careful as carderine is also rough on the liver. I can’t for the life of me keep my HDL in range but these have kept my LDL in check.

I would look into some of the things Dante suggests.
Many things posted are in that list. Berberine, citrus bergamot etc.
Not sure if I can’t add this here but Leviathan Nutrition produces very high quality shipments that are supported by bloodwork. So check them out also.
Kind of in the shit with orals either way. But it can be somewhat mitigated.

If your willing to go the pharmacueitcal route ezetimbie is great and no sides for me. My ldl has never been over 70 even on my most intense blast of Multiple grams of gear and 100mg of var daily.

Fish or krill oil. Flax seed oil. Coconut oil. Grass fed beef. Butter. Anchovies. Salmon. Organic free range eggs. Anything to elevate your HDL. High LDL isn’t as big of an issue if HDL is high to offset. Orals whacked my HDL last time so I’m aggressively supplementing this time around.

I would kind of rebuttal the above comment a little bit. Your going to have a much easier time lowering your LDL vs rasing your HDL.
