Hairloss and TRT - when to know if it's going to be an issue?

I'm 36 and hopped on TRT at the beginning of this year, so been on it for almost a full year at 160mg a week which puts me around 700-900 testosterone when bloods are taken. I'm not genetically predisposed to hairloss and I really haven't seen any kind of increased hair loss on this dosage. The benefits that I'm getting from TRT are great but I'm still paranoid about it cause I love having hair. What is the general rule of thumb wrt this? If you're not noticing hair loss does it just take years off the backend of when you naturally would have had your hair, or do some people never experience hair loss on TRT?

From what I understand it would potentially speed up the process, so rather than you going bald naturally at 40 you bald at say 37. It all depends on you though, you could have hair till youre 80.

Hop on finasteride bro. I’ve been on it for five years. Don’t listen to the people who says it’ll kill your dick.

Those are the people who get no pussy to begin with, if they had pussy in front of them their little peckers would get hard. then they go on Reddit , look up finasteride and see a bunch of goofy goobers all saying they have ED because they saw one post somewhere where it said 1 person got ED from it during some study.

I was thinking about doing the oral, I do take the topical (mixed with fin from Keeps or Hims, I forget which one but its a solution w/ both of them) and do the topic about 3 times a week. I know the oral is more effective though but yeah... that shit does unnerve me a fuck ton. I've never had issues with libido or ED before (except a few nights in college when I was drunk out of my mind and on adderall) and I haven't noticed any sides from the topical so I wonder if I should make the jump. Anyone else on fin + TRT here?

I mean I am not in total disagreement that finasteride may be a good option, but finasteride syndrome is more than just ED. It can have neurological sides, ED, low libido, etc. scary stuff. Low risk, but it is believed it can change a genes expression that relates to hormone release in some individuals. DHT is a strange hormone...

Like the other guy said it can speed up androgenic hair loss if you are predisposed. I would PERSONALLY not go jump on oral meds if you aren't even noticing changes... Promising studies are coming out about Ketoconazole shampoos meant for anti-fungal, but are showing regression in androgenic hair loss in individuals who use it.

I agree I wouldnt start adding stuff until you actually have a problem. Im no expert but since youre only on trt youre not going to be speeding up the process a lot like if you were really blasting. youre already pretty lucky honestly some dudes go bald at 20 and they never touch anything.

Haha, I am 25 bruh my genetics are strong for good hair too, and honestly idgaf I will fly to Turkey and get hair implants before I go bald if that ever is a problem... I am completely aware I have seen people in full-blown liver failure from Tylenol, and have seen GI bleeds kill people from ibuprofen. The risk is low in all of these cases but to say the proven risk is made up, is wrong man.

See, that is how I feel too. Let me pick your brain about this. With test E and C You have this upshoot after injection, then have a medium zig-zag of T levels from probably clinically high to normal. I wonder how undecanoate T would be for TRT and its effects on hair loss since it is pretty steady serum level wise.
