HCG: bac water or sodium chloride version?

going to reconstitute a new vial of hcg tomorrow
500iu e3d, one vial lasts 5 weeks
some say only use bac water, the sodium chloride version will ruin the hcg faster
others say use the sodium chloride that came in the package, the ba in the bac water will ruin the hcg faster
I have both types of water on hand, which one should I use?

All I know is that all of my pharma hCG has always come with bac water or has been reconstituted in bac water. I recall somebody correcting me in the past about sodium chloride being only for short-term use, but personally I don’t see a reason to stray from what I know is 100% good to go. I can assure you that bac water is a-ok and has no downsides. I can’t do the same for sodium chloride. Hopefully somebody else can chime in before tomorrow and clarify everything, but if push comes to shove, bac water is a undoubtedly a safe route to go.

I’ve always used bac water and it’s worked prefect. I may be wrong but I believe Sc is used for immediate injection so it wouldn’t be helpful because we run 4-5 weeks. Bac water prevents any growth of bacteria as it’s distilled and filtered. I believe SC also prevents any bacteria growth but I would just stick to the Bac water.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your experience.

I have heard the same thing too, the sodium chloride that comes with the hcg is for single use, not long term use like what we do. I only heard that online, I don’t fully understand how sodium chloride would denature the hcg molecule. I’m not going to pretend like I’m an expert, I’m still learning.

I didn’t even realize I had been using sodium chloride for the past two vials of hcg until I translated the chinese on those little glass vials that you pop the top off. That’s ten weeks of using hcg that was reconstituted with sodium chloride. However, I didn’t observe any change in testicle size, it’s been the same pre-steroid size during continuous hcg use and hasn’t shrunk at all.

Unless if anyone else chimes in, I’ll go back to using bac water, good thing I had both on hand just in case.

That was my understanding too, that the little glass vial of Sc that comes in the box was meant for single use. If there’s no problems with using bac water, then I’ll stick with that.

The bac water comes in 30ml bottles. If I take 10ml out, can I use the remaining 20ml 5 weeks later, or is it not safe to use anymore?

^ You can absolutely use the remaining 20 mL 5 weeks later! The expiration is usually on the bottle if you’re getting it from a pharmacy (possibly elsewhere too, but I can’t speak from experience on those), and if not, I couldn’t see it expiring that soon. Not sure if it can last past expiration (kinda like how pills just ‘degrade a tiny bit’) or whatever, but it’s cheap enough that I toss what’s left and get a new one once it expires just to play it safe.

I’ve got a couple of vials of bacteriostatic sodium chloride as well as bacteriostatic water. Spoke with my local pharmacist earlier today because I had the EXACT same question. He said that bacteriostatic sodium chloride is absolutely safe and commonly used for injections. “Bacteriorstatic” means that it has a small amount of preservative to allow for prolonged (multi) use of the reconstituted peptide. What he mentioned was that sodium chloride version is better for subcutaneous injections, whereas the water version is better for IM.

It’s important to note that sodium chloride and bacteriostatic sodium chloride are not the same thing, and should not be used interchangeably.
