HMG vs HCG for long term preservation of balls

I’ll be completely off steroids in 2 years and don’t want to use a lot of hcg in the last month to reverse years of atrophy. It’s like not watering a plant for 2 years, it’s dry and shriveled up, the structures inside the testicles have wasted away. It’s better to inject small amounts throughout to keep it functioning.

• injecting small amounts of hcg for the past 22 weeks in an effort to preserve testicular integrity
• 300 iu e3d for a month, then off for a week
• tried same thing but with 200 iu
• balls still shrank a noticeable amount
• HCG acts as a synthetic LH
• HMG contains the real hormones the body produces, so there’s no risk of desensitizing the testes to LH = better option long term

Does anyone have experience with hmg? Is the dosing the same as with hcg or is a lower dose equally effective? The only option I found is the same price as a vial of hcg but only 75 IU per vial, unlike hcg having 5,000 IU per vial.

It doesn’t sound like your approach is working too well. Most physicians experienced with hCG wouldn’t take that approach either.

Also, there is no risk of leydig cell desensitization when using hCG in doses commonly used for these purposes. The fact that hCG is an LH mimicking does not have any bearing there either.

A typical hMG protocol is 75IU 2 or 3 times per week, so it’s significantly more expensive than hCG. That’s the main reason that you’ll see hCG being used more frequently for fertility purposes.

Hmg is expensive as FUCK to use on a regular basis. I’ve looked into it for boosting sperm counts, but fuck there’s just no way

You might need more. Try 500 e3d. Some people need higher, some lower. You could try “shocking” your system with a little higher (like 1000iu) just once, and then drop back to 500 e3d and see how that works. Just don’t go overboard like 2000, or worse 5000 in one shot… HMG is hands-down better and safer, but cost inhibitive. Only start it if you’re trying to get wifey pregnant and your sperm count/quality is low.
