You dont need a hotplate stirrer nor beakers. I would put my lab toy money towards good filters, lab grade media bottles with 45 or 33mm threaded tops and a good lab dispensette.

For heating and melting raws, microwaves are actually the least harmful form of heating known to hormones and provide a safe and fast way of heating so they can be immediately combined with room temp carrier oil and cooled down. This shortening of the time when hormone is hot is crucial to keeping the raw potent.
For this stage you can just use a good thick piece of kitchen pyrex like for baking and such.

Phase 2 is improving the filtering system. AS son as you can afford it you should move to peristaltic pump with capsule filter. Its life changing. ENJOY!

Microwave? Do you use this method?
LOL just the way you worded that I can tell you are going to miss the lesson… Im not going to waste my time trying to explain this to a non-practitioner, but if waddling around my kitchen in the mornings taking turns pulling scrambled eggs and coffee out of my microwave so I can melt down some tren is what you are picturing, the answer is no. You recognize the difference between a microwave oven (the thing that you use to make ramen when you and your mother are not on speaking terms) and “microwaves”, the form of energy in between the visible light spectrum and radio waves on the electromagnetic spectrum, correct?
To be fair, you’d have to be at least a little autistic to assume that in a thread where some guy is asking how to brew for the first time Microwave doesn’t mean the appliance.

But what do I know, I only compound the way it’s done by pharmacies.
You make a very valid point though. I guess the current climate in these forums x the way it was asked put me on the defensive since I was fully expecting the next 5 forum posts to be about how BioAnus brews gear in his coffee machine and then microwaves it for 3 minutes on each side and then adds salt to taste. This tren has me breathing fire lately.
Lmao yo let me get that Keurig Tren

Just wondering how easy ot os to homebrew as i am thinking of doing it myself. Nothing special of a set up would be using pre sterilized vials and filter by hand and what not… Just wanted to know what it takes and how hard or easy it is… Would be just for myself and would want to brew about 80ml of finished products…

Thanks
If you email me I can send you links to all the stuff you’ll need and give you a quick rundown. It’s very easy

basskilleronline was a pretty good resource for the process for me back in the day, might be worth poking around to give you an idea if it’s feasible for you.

There are also some guides here that JeffG wrote, and the r/steroids subreddit has good info in the wiki as well.

Have to say though, a hotplate stirrer, beakers, and digital thermometer is way helpful.

Before filtering on my first home-brew, I brought my oils to 90 degrees celsius for 5 minutes - an effective way of killing infectious organisms. Not a substitute for filtering, just another way to insure sterility.

How much money would it cost? Including cheap hotplate stirrer, solvents and carrier oil, beakers and other equipment? Everything but the raws?
less than $200 for a ghetto setup, or as much as you can imagine. It sprawls pretty quickly lmao.
I got most of my supplies via medsupplylab and amazon, and I paid $95 for everything (excluding raws).

So basically you use a microwave oven.

Unless you’ve made a microwave gun yourself or is a senior engineer for Raytheon, I highly doubt you have one or would be dumb enough to use that to sterilize your shit.

Just be honest. You use a separate microwave oven just for gear. Nothing wrong with it.

Wondering what you ended up deciding to do as I’m looking to do some test C and seeing if you’d share the process you came up with… Thanks

Would you mind sharing what you purchased for $95 and also has it all worked? Thank you very much
