How have steroids improved your life?

Other than in the gym, how have steroids improved your life? People always throw around the negative side effects figured I’d ask about the positive ones.

Before I started using I had really bad anxiety. My natural test was in the 300s my natural estradiol was on the lower end. Using obviously brought my test up it also brought my estro up which once I leveled out damn near took away all my anxiety.

It’s improved my life in so many ways. It’s been a good way to keep me out of trouble and sober. Also obviously love the physique changes. I’ve also met some great people through common hobbies of bodybuilding. Not gonna lie I do love the comments I get IRL. Like many others I have BDD so hearing things reminds me that I’m not a 130 lb twig too

My relatives no longer give me money to “go eat some mcdonald’s” every time they see me. Not sure if this is an upside considering I’d gladly take that money to go eat some mcdonald’s nowadays lol

Increased energy and endurance, well-being, calmness, less anxiety(but that has a lot to do with how you let the world jack with you). As an older man the benefits to memory, focus, learning, the ability to do longer math problems in my head again without writing them down. This to me is more important then what I do in the gym. At 40 I started having problems with my ability to recall and stay focused for extended periods, my mental endurance was shot.

I consider steroids the best nootropic that very few people know about. Especially DHT which I consider more important then any other hormone for the brain.

The main thing is to focus on sane doses, eat clean and get the cardio done. There should be few downsides to AAS, if a person is paying attention.

As for vanity, I don’t really get into that. I’m 6’3", so I’m taller then most guys. I can go around the gym patting most of the bigger guys on their heads. I love having bigger muscles, but the attitudes of some of the gym rats is embarrassing and really sort of pathetic. People should smile and laugh more, life is short.

Likewise, love you man. I’ll be more active in the upcoming months for sure. I sadly and admittedly have trouble talking and thinking about steroids/working out when I’m not blasting. Similarly to you, BDD is quite extreme with me as well.

The main benefits for me is increased sex drive, more lean body mass as I’ve gotten older and increased sense of well being.

I feel like my life has improved in many ways… Overall I am a more developed and elevated version of myself before AAS (physically, mentally, emotionally, financially). Honestly I feel like every area of my life has improved. Not saying it’s just because of steroids but it’s all relative and kind of a domino effect. There have been some negative effects… My wife left unexpectedly and filed for divorce. She blamed my gear usage but IMO it was mostly a cop out to throw me under the bus. But I’m happier now and better off without her so maybe that was a positive side effect of gear too lol.

Think of it this way: Your wife helped you lose 120 pounds.

Typical ex wife move… they love to blame the gear. You explained it perfectly… I’m an elevated version of myself before AAS as well. Keep in mind, AAS has caused me some issues when other parts of my life were not in order. When I’m sober from all other drugs and alcohol, and making an effort to be a better person each day, I feel that they improve my mental focus, well being, and drive me to excel. There are compounds that can cause negative affects (anxiety, paranoia) however I have learned to stay away from those drugs over the years. All of these “AAS benefits” can go down the toilet very fast if you overdo it and ruin your body in the process so for me it’s all about trying to stay moderate and humble with my dosages and duration of blasts.

50% of marriages end in divorce. Second marriage divorce rates are even higher.

Marriage should have never been a legal contract or economic agreement, it’s an affront to your individual liberty imposed by government and religious psychos to the benefit of lawyers and other parasites.

They’ve improved the way I look, besides that I don’t think they’ve done anything else to improve my overall life.

This is only an issue in modern day western society though. For the mass mass mass majority of history it wasn’t the case. Back when infidelity/adultery was actually punished, promiscuity was shun by all of society, clothing actually covered our bodies, and women were at home with the kids 24/7 so going out to bars/clubs/meat markets without their significant other wasn’t a thing. Marriage in itself is a wonderful concept and did amazingly for the majority of our ancestors. It’s just that our current day western society is highly incompatible with it. We currently promote, encourage, and accept behavior which is directly destructive to long-term relationship success and the nuclear family as a whole.

Totally agree. Hedonistic culture has done untold harm to our societies. It’s hard to convince people of this though. How to convince someone of the deep satisfaction given by a wife and family vs the pleasure of shagging a new bar thot five nights a week? It’s a constant uphill battle against the social programming foisted upon us from the earliest ages.
