How long does Anavar usually take to start working?

Female here, started my first cycle about 7 days ago, started with 5mg split am/pm Ed for 3 days, bumped to 10mg split am/pm Ed as that’s the dosage I wanted to run my first cycle at as a sort of test to see how it goes. I currently feel nothing in terms of strength or hardness or any kind of pumps, no libido changes, appetite changes, weight gain or loss. Nothing. No sides either which I’m not complaining about, but I’m actually super acne prone and was expecting the Var to screw with it a bit but nothing so far. Eating a deficit as I’m trying to cut. The first few days I felt super tired, and my throat was sore but I couldn’t figure out if it was the Var or a flu. It went away quick.

Just wanting to know when I should start feeling any sort of anything, haha. Wondering if it may be bunk. Thanks!

You must be new to gear.
Calm down and let the drug take effects. IT IS NOT MAGIC.
If you run Var from any source here (All of whom are very reputable and we know their product is not bunk) at 10mg/day and you’re doing things correctly on your own (eating well, training properly) then you should see much better results than you would’ve naturally.
If you’re overweight and hoping this little bit of drug will fix that for you, you’re living in fantasy land.
If you’re not eating right or training properly and hoping this little bit of drug will give you gains, you’re living in fantasy land.

The drug is about 1% of the total equation OP.

Mine kick in around the end of second week. Vascular and pump were the first signs. By week 4 it started to dry me up along with insomnia and mild lethargy. I was on 75mg/day though.

My girls been on 10mg of var for a couple weeks and she hasn’t really noticed anything, at the end of the first week of var for me I get ridiculously painful pumps. But I usually run 100mg a day.

This exactly. Most of the time we notice the “negative” side effects which tell us the product is what it is before you start getting a lot of the “positive” signs of it. Tren is one of the most potent compounds we can take and I notice BP/HR spiking and sleep getting more difficult before I notice the positive aspects of taking it like vascularity or feeling like I can practically train the same body part daily.

Be patient and as you notice your recovery becoming insane, enjoy!

Could you imagine the backlash if a dude posted this??? I respect the fact that we have women here, it’s awesome. But this is a noob question that could have answered by a Google search.

Women have different protocol for using AAS. If this was a dude, we would have all asked if he was using a Test base, and told him that the Test would far overshadow the Var, which is mild. Var has a larger effect on females, so he questions are more warranted.

She also posted her question respectfully, not calling out any source for having ‘bunk’ Var, which I can respect, and I am sure a lot of other posters can as well. It is a lot nicer helping someone who is trying to know the effects of a compound, rather than lashing out and blaming a source because they don’t have sick gainz yet.

Not much info around for females. If there was I guess I’ m just not looking in the right places. All bodies respond differently so I can’t just go off what a dude says at 100mg ED who’s also loaded up on several other things.

And since I got my pack from sources found on this site, I was thinking that it would be best to check here with people who also use these sources for more accurate info.

I am no female but I use and have used low doses of var (10 mg, 20 mg) so I can give some anecdotal experience when it comes to personal onset and such. Even at 10 mg I notice it on the second day in the gym, not strength wise, but when it comes to the pump-I actually feel like the first week-two is when the pump really stands out. Around week 2-3 I notice the strength benefits. As a female I’d think you get less in terms of the pump due to a simple lack of muscle mass/glycogen stores, similar to how smaller men don’t get nearly as significant of a pump as, say, an IFBB pro would. So IMO week 2-3 is when you’ll really notice it since you’ll be reaping the strength benefits. It’ll likely take 3-4-5 weeks for you to notice actual size changes in the mirror/how clothing fit as a female. I wouldn’t be too concerned after a week in your shoes. Just don’t let it demoralize you and stay on top of everything - training/nutrition especially. There will eventually be a day where you wake up, look in the mirror and say, okay, X body part looks better than ever.

Oh man, thanks so much for this reply. I appreciate you putting thought into actually answering my question. You make some great points about the pump, etc. I was slightly getting a little upset afraid that I may have got bunk gear since so many (male) posts talked about getting all these great effects nearly immediately and I really didn’t know what to expect as a female. Again, thanks, I’ll keep all this in mind! 🙂
