Saying he shouldn’t do 250 a week is assuming he doesn’t respond/convert well but he wouldn’t know until he got bloodwork. I’ve seen guys convert decent amounts on just 200 let alone 250. If I took that advice I’d not have gained 35 pounds. I feel better on 350/375 but I started initially on 200 pharma for quite awhile. Weight came on fast but I did throw in some dbol. Difference is that I kept the dbol weight after I got off.
The assuption for multipliers is about 4-5, so 250mg/week would likely only put someone at 1000-1250 ng/dl which is not super high.
Not suggesting a first timer run 250mg/week is pretty sound advice. You want them to feel the Test; otherwise, what is the point of shutting yourself down? And I wouldn’t bank on having a good response before your first cycle.
I did my first cycle at 250mg/week which put me at ~1800. But I was doing a cut, and did 600mg/week later (which put me at ~3000ng/dl) after cruising. I had a general plan going into it, and tempered my expectations based on that.
