How old is too old?

I have been on some test I’ve had for about a year. Got some really bad blood work results. Taking for trt purposes and it only put me at 3x. I’m usually a 5x responder. My blood work came in at just over 400 on 150mg a week. Always stored in a cool dark place. I didn’t think it would degrade that much. Underdosed test or normal for being that old? BTW, bought from a vender that’s no longer here.

The oil will go rancid before the test will degrade anywhere remotely noticable.

Which source?

When you sit down on the toilet and your sack is submerged in water, I would say that is too old.

Is your RBC high? If RBC is high, it’ll skew the test multiplier because there is more blood volume in you.

I would run some hcg. 500iu a week or less and re test. I have no direct first hand experience but I have heard of guys who their hpta axis is so shutdown that it is causing some sort of negative feedback loop with any injectable test they take. This gets worse supposedly the older you get and the longer you are shutdown.

I know my response to test has got a lot better over the years after running hcg here and there vrs never.

Good idea. I’ll give it a shot.

This doesn’t make any sense, but if you have any studies then be a bro and post links.

Reason it doesn’t make sense is due to the fact that using exogenous hormones does shut down your hpta axis due to negative feedback loop. Since we’re using an exogenous source of test, we don’t need to worry about our natural production, and a shutdown hpta axis obviously won’t effect your test levels while using that exogenous source.

I agree that hcg is great to use, and it can result in a higher test level due to natural production, but your stated theory isn’t correct.

I agree, if you can find some literature on this “negative feedback loop” please enlighten me.

It’s pretty well documented anecdotally the longer you are on and older you are it’s harder to recover. It’s also well documented there is varying degrees of shut down from different compounds, not just aas but things like roaccutane, ssri drugs etc. There is plenty of people that report poorly to just trt alone.

When you use hcg you raise intra testicular testosterone which is just one reason it works in the way I said. If your nuts are raisins which they can get to of course you are more shut down and producing less intra testicular testosterone then when they are like large marbles or normal… You don’t need a study for that.

Obviously there is no studies on what I said. Pharma companies don’t give a shit about users like us, there is no money in it to fund this. It’s like a couple bucks to try what I said. If your looking for an explanation on why it works then you are looking at the wrong guy and i try avoid armchair theorists that haven’t done anything themselves as much as possible. As soon as I focused less on that and more on diet training and drugs my results got much better and I got much much less side effects when I stopped following the dogma of ‘run short esters eod and long twice a week’ if you actually follow this and get blood tests you will see for enanthate esters this will make your levels vary about 40%. Which is the main reason for side effects, blood levels going up and down.

The literature also says its fine to run 300mgs of anadrol ed for years and inject test undec once every 3 months. Try both and let me know how you get on. The literature is fucked it doesn’t take a genius to work that out. It also doesn’t take much of a genius to work out that it’s about money, not actual reduction of side effects and problems for the user. Take away all the problems and they LOSE money.

Oh-I totally agree that there are many benefits to keeping intratesticular testosterone production and preventing complete shutdown of the hpta. One being, as you mentioned, higher testosterone level, but-really- preventing complete hpta shutdown has tremendous benefits via all of the downstream pathways and signaling, including testosterone production but not limited to.

Maybe you just worded your first comment weirdly, or I read it wrong and misunderstood what you were trying to say, but I totally agree with what you’re saying here.
