How to Make Capsules

This question is directed at those who Homebrew/ capsule/ suspend whatever their own stuff. I was curious to find out how you go about making capsules.

I got 5 g of proviron and I wanted to encapsulate them but not really sure how to begin outside of getting a pill machine and empty caps. I know you have to mix a filler in but thats where it starts to get hazy because how do you make sure there somewhat even and mixed thoroughly?

Obviously I have google but everything is different that I read and some recommend suspending it but I don’t want to mix any alcohol into it especially since the type of acohol I’d need is not easy to come by.

Also I thought it would be cool to have a thread on this here that anyone could reference for themselves because I did not come across one.

Look up geometric dilution.

Get a mortar and pestle and a spatula.

Capping trays 100-400 USD depending on the size. A simple 10 cap tray off ebay is cheap. But trays that do up to 400 at a time are available easily.

but getting the right mixture is not easy and having it accurate is damn hard different filler mixes differently. on what I have produced in my time in this work, the right filler and the right mixing equipment is obviously the cornerstone to operations. V cone mixers and and such. high end equipment. Items you won’t have or get.

Caps are easier then tablets obviously as you avoid the binders and the press adn I do think presses are not legal or easy to get in the USA always or in some areas.

I believe the safest is just to measure out what you need and take it, trying to make a mixture when you are talking about mg or mcg is not easy to nail in a mix honestly so best is just take what you need if you need. I think most dnp producers can not mix the right ratio at all and have no clue how to mix product. And that is generally a 250 mg / 200 mg mix. So when you are talking a mcg or a 50 mg mix that is complex to nail correctly. Hence why I think when possible just measure out and take what you need is the way to go.

Here are my notes from making caps. Figure out how much pure taurine each cap holds, then multiply that amount by your number of caps. Make that amount of total powder and mix it good with a mortar & pestle and then put it in a plastic container and shake the shit out of it for a few minutes. I put paprika in with the active ingredient to make sure it mixes with the taurine, that’s the row that says colored filler. I use EZ-CAP-FILLER for the size 3s, it’s a pain and makes my fingers cramp but it’s nice having little pills. Some drugs have a different density than the taurine which is why the amount per cap varies. I use The Capsule Machine for size 0s. It’s kind of a guessing game to figure out which densities will be different, but the smaller the active dose per cap the less the density variation is gonna make any difference.

I know that each size 3 cap holds about 240mg taurine, so I make the total powder = 50 * 0.24g = 12g. If I want each cap to be 40mg I make the compound weight 1/6 (40/240) of total weight or 2g compound. I overdose by 5% to be safe.

Filled weight is the weight of all 24 or 50 caps.

The amount per cap = ((Caps filled weight - Empty caps weight) / # caps) * 1000

The active compound per cap = (total compound / (total compound + taurine weight + paprika weight)) * Amount per cap

Just did some capping. I used a cap-m-quick with tamper. It holds 50 caps at a time and was like $15.
