100% agree you definitely do need to pick the lifestyle you prefer. But, in my experience, a lot of guys I’ve met who run gear are alcoholics/addicts and most alcoholics don’t even know that they are. Gear saved my life to be honest, about 4 years clean now.
I'd agree. However, there comes a point where it's just denial. It's about the time your shitty choices have alienated basically anyone who isn't an enabler or legitimately cares about you. If you're able to turn your back on those people you're 100% a degenerate addict and the chances of turning back are pretty slim.
