Insulin makes my hair grow faster?

Suffer from MPB and find whenever I run insulin my hair grows back faster and thicker, especially on novorapid. Am I imagining stuff?Studies show insulin does have an effect on hair growth, and friends with T1D said thye think so too, but want to hear from you guys.
