I’m running a small cycle of 400mg test a week with some RAD140. Been using anastrozole S my AI. Do you guys think that’s a waste ? Should I switch to Nolva or Arimidex?
Do you NEED to use an aromtase inhibitor? No.
Do you have a familial history of stroke/MI or a predisposition towards bloods clots/thromboses/embolisms? Definitely yes and maybe reconsider use of anabolic steroids all together.
Are you experiencing high E2 symptoms that are impacting your quality of life? Yes.
Is your blood pressure routinely at hypertensive levels? Possibly. Other factors can be contributing but if you're taking not an AI and your BP is high, a low dose of an AI is a good place to start.
Arimidex is the brand name of anastrozole so I assume you mean aromasin aka exemestane. There's no data to suggest whether Aromasin or Arimidex is better for treatment of high E2 in anabolic steroid users. The overwhelming majority of the data on safety or impact on other markers like lipids or SHBG come from trials utilizing aromatase inhibitors for the treatment of breast cancer in women where the DAILY dosages are 5x/10x the WEEKLY dose typically utilized by anabolic steroids users. Some users find Arimidex easier than Aromasin to titrate and vice versa.
