Life span of oils

was just wondering how to store oils and what is the life expectancy of the oils if stored properly so I do not screw up and order to much prematurely lol

They will last about as long as your carrying oil will naturally last. This also depends on the conditions in which this stuff was produced.

Optimally, a small refrigerator would probably keep your oils a hell of a lot longer than normal shelf storage. If you practice sterile conditions, and your source is also a very clean source, your oils SHOULD last you a good long while assuming you never open their container. I imagine you’d get at least a year out of your oils by refrigerating them, keeping them out of light and out of heat.

Beware of oils subjected to heat + light, they are almost certainly going rancid.

Oils going rancid isn’t really the issue. We are injecting this oil, the main goal is sterility and hormone potency.

I would never recommend anyone injecting ugl gear without first heating the vial one time at 145F for at least 30-40 minutes until that thing is hot to make sure any bacteria are neutralized.

The hormone is gonna be fine, the oil might not taste that great, but it will serve its purpose and that’s to suspend the hormone so we can inject it.

Even if the oil is older, rancid, it doesn’t mean a thing as long as it is sterile and the hormone is potent.

We aren’t after some great tasting oil, we’re trying to get a hormone into our body without causing an infection.

If you’re worried about oil shelf life, you will want to stick with a saturated oil like MCT or Mig840, even extra refined olive oil that is monosaturated has a long shelf life. Polysaturated oils like grapeseed aren’t gonna be tasty as long, but if it’s sterile and the hormone does it’s job, there shouldn’t be a problem.

so here is the thing with rancid oil . If your oil turns it means it was exposed to the air . probably a good indication that the top has lost its seal. It does happen . If gear is exposed to the air for an extended period of time the hormone
will begin to oxidize and breakdown causing it to loose potency. I recommend storing in a good heat sealed freezer wrap. keep it at room temperature and check it from time to time to make sure it is still sealed . I dont recommend keeping it in the fridge. The hormone could crash or turn. Benzyl Benzoate which is an additive to the gear solidifies at a slightly lower temp. sometimes around 50-60 degrees . This will clump up. You dont want to risk crashing the gear
