little pin problems

i am using bd .5ml 30g pins w. test e in mct oil. for low dose <.5ml per injection trt

i bent two plungers on the smaller pins while trying to force it into my delt. i had used 25g 1" luer lock style pins and i stopped for 3 reasons, discomfort, built up scar tissues around my glute, and its more difficult while being uncomfortable for me to reach now, as im older and bigger.

the 30g bd is a joke. its like a mosquito bite compared to the 23/25g, yet now im faced with new problems. now its the injection. drawing from the bottle is slow and thats fine. the injection itself sucks and is frustrating. not because its slow. i feel like im using too much force AND its slow. i put so much force on the stopper while injecting the first delt that i broke the plunger on the first pin and then the rubber stopper rolled up inside the syringe and then i had to switch pins. i broke the second plunger on my other delt using force to pin.

i have considered lowering the viscosity of the oil by heating it in the vial before drawing. only enough to thin it out long enough to go in. who has run into similar problems? and how much room temperature wise do i have to heat the oil before the triglycerides and test is destroyed? what options do i have to heat the vial? part of what i was thinking of was simply throwing it on top of the glass cooking range on my stove and letting it heat up.

In my personal experience .5ml sucks even for Small doses like .1ml that I pin. Also 30g blows compared to 29g. 29g 1cc 1/2 has been the most optimal slin pin.

30g feels like its too much like a toy for the viscosity of the gear. i looked for the 29g online before buying 30g and there were no sources. i’ll have another run at some 1cc syringes. the problem was with sourcing pins that would deliver to my region. thanks for the advice.

I inject mct oil with 30g 1/2 all the time… no problems… 1ml syringe. It’s a little slow but I wouldn’t want to use any bigger on my delts… mct should flow smooth through a 30g…take.me 45 second to pin 1ml… it’s weird you are having that much trouble with mct… you can try 29gauge… I personally wouldn’t go any bigger for delts traps pecs and bis… I personally think there’s an issue with your gear… maybe it’s a cheaper form of.mct that is thicker??.. alot of guys pin mct with 30g with no issues like what.ypur having…that’s is kind of why I think maybe there is an issue/difference in your mct oil vs others… my 1ml syringe ls habe the removable needles… I draw with a 20-23gauge and inject with a 30g. Mct is the thinnest oil out there… aside from maybe eo…

its probably due to the .5ml pins. they are so small i guess they arent cut out for pushing oil with as much force as i am. as for the oil its 300 test e in mct. since its more concentrated its thicker. i might move up to the 1cc pins if i can find them for delivery. thank you.

i added a step and heated the oil. it was worth the extra time spent rather than fooling with broken pins. pin went smooth. zero pip, no lumps, oil seemed to completely disperse in tissue.

@6295184 ebay and Amazon have 1ml pins with luer slip and luer lock tips…priced with in reason too

I’ve always used a big gauge for drawing and a small gauge for pinning. You can pick up 100cts of needles for less than $20 and it’s well worth it to not either take forever drawing, or having to use a bigass needle pinning.

Personally I like drawing with a 21/23g, and pinning with a 27ish g. Obviously the lower your injections are the smaller you can get away with, but I can pin 3ml with a 27g in a very reasonable amount of time.

When I first started I used 25g for everything, but drawing took forever, and pinning kinda blew. Especially in the delt where going up just a g or two can make a huge difference in comfort. Plus I don’t want to build up scar tissue if I can minimize it.
