Made my own L carnitine - Questions

Brewed my own injectable l carnitine. Filtered and used Bac water. Just curious is it normal for these vials to have like a layer of bubbles along the top? Did it maybe not all dissolve yet or I left too much air into it?? Thanks lol
I injected 100mg of it so if I don’t die it’s g2g

I make my own also but don’t recall every seeing bubbles at the top… maybe after I just make it but it settles out fine. I do let it sit in the fridge for about 24 hours to assure it doesn’t recrystalize. Never seen that happen, but I guess it could.

I’ve been making it at 500mg/ml and it’s been fantastic. Been running it for the last 2 months and it’s been great. Have been running a very basic test and dbol cycle for mass and have stayed really really lean despite being on a higher than normal surplus. I’ll take it.

Thanks yeah overnight the bubbles went down like 40-60% so once it settles probably good

I just injected 500mg this morning to finish the last month of my cut off with. I’m also on keto diet so we’ll see how it goes 🙂

@Aoi_611 Care to share your experiences with the injectable L-Carnitine? I know nothing about it, and will do some research, but I honestly hold the opinions from most users on this forum higher than any other. I also like to add cool new products, as long as they produce results. Anyone else that has used it should chime in as well!

anyone know a good source for buying L-Carnitine 500mg/ml? i’ve been seeing a lot about the benefits from yall and MPMD youtube channel.

i didn’t wanna start a new thread since historically they pretty much always go unanswered, eventually i’ll probably need to suck it up and just homebrew

@apexalab Would also like to hear experiences. I’ve heard a bit and am about to start my summer cut. I already fuck with DNP and PSMF dieting so I doubt it’s particularly necessary for me, but I’m always wanting to learn about new tools.

Recommend doing this

On day 4 of 1000mg a day I definitely feel leaner and a little bit more energy but I’m on a keto diet cutting

So in total I’ve been running it about 9-10 weeks. Started a loading phase for two weeks at 950mg day, usually in one bolus shot preworkout. This was accompanied by 50g dextrose intraworkout then a high carb meal post workout.

The mechanism of action with carnitine is dependent on an insulin spike. This could be via use of exogenous insulin or something that would drive an internal spike, like dextrose. I chose dextrose because I’m not entirely comfortable injecting insulin at the moment. This insulin spike was only needed for the initial loading phase. After that there’s enough carnitine in your system to work fine so long as you have steady insulin levels. At that point your
daily maintenance dose will be half the loading dose.

Everything I’ve read and experienced anecdotally indicates that carbs are needed for the fat burning effects so I’m not sure how effective keto might be here.

Anyway , as mentioned above for the last 5 weeks I’ve been running it with a very basic dbol and test cycle. I’ve been taking in about 600g carbs a day and staying really lean. I’m actually leaner than when I started. I can start to get fat on a surplus, so the noticeable leanness thing stuck out, a lot. I would say more so than tren if that means anything. Pumps are great too and this was noticeable way before the dbol kicked in.

With this stuff being so cheap to make, I don’t see any reason not to run it continuous. Also had some blood work done and it didn’t throw any odd markers. Another plus.

@Aoi_611 very interesting thanks for the info - I had never heard about needing an insulin spike with carnitine. I brewed my own and will give it a try. Do you get any PIP @500mg/ml? I kept mine at 250mg to avoid pain but all the pin holes are a problem of their own.

For the record mine had some bubbles in it too - the bacto water seems to do that by itself sometimes.
