I got a dumb question…
how important are the maintenance phases if you blast and cruise?
I understand the concept that if you bulk for 12-16 weeks on blast, you do not want to go right into a cut because you risk losing some of the new gains. So the idea is to go into a maintenance phase for a month so your body recognizes it’s new “set weight”
Is this true?
Additionally, if you drop down to a high cruise (150-300/wk) of test after you cycle, are you really at risk to lose your gains? Wouldn’t the exogenous test prevent any catabolism?
I am wrapping up my bulk and went went pretty calorie heavy at the end, I am eager to get some of the extra fat off (live and learn).
Give me your thoughts juicy bros! Do I just stay fluffy for the extra month after cycle or can I start to slowly begin my calorie deficit and have faith the cruise test will keep my gains without eating at maintenance for a while?
thanks for any input!!
