Modafinil Experiences?

I’m interested in hearing from those of you that have used modafinil, or any of the similar compounds. I am looking at possibly trying some. I am the type that likes to drink 3-4 cups of coffee during the day at work to stay “productive”. Perhaps modafinil could replace the coffee? Coffee makes me a little jittery and/or nervous sometimes. Does modafinil do the same thing?

Modafinil alone won’t make most people jittery usually. It definitely helps with productivity but you can kind of feel a little weird on it at times. Like a hyper focused feeling but not stimulated. Stuff seems to last forever too. Only take it first thing awaking or you may end up not being able to sleep that night.

Careful mixing with coffee or stimulants.it will make that jitteryness way worse until your used to it. You will be a productivity beast though once you get acustomed to modafinil and coffee.

I absolutely love modafinil. I work 3rd shift, have a family, and train 5 days a week so my sleep schedule is beyond fucked up as you can imagine. Modafinil almost instantly gets rid of brain fog or grogginess from lack of sleep. I feel motivated and focused at work and the gym.
Only real negative was mentioned already, going to sleep at night can be a challenge. That and your piss will smell like sulfur.
I did get headaches my first few times taking it but they were mild and went away after taking some ibuprofen.

I find I’m a lot more outgoing when I take it and get a mild sense of euphoria. I still drink coffee with it because I love coffee and it’s my one of my few vices.I also find it has a synergistic effect when mixed with caffeine.

Modafinil isn’t your typical stimulant. It works on the cns but you dont experience jitteriness, anxiety, or a crash like you do from traditional stimulants. At least I dont.

It definitely helps. I find myself building a tolerance fairly quick though. I usually take it for 2 weeks and take a week or two off. But I also drink a lot of caffenine throughout the day including a preworkout. I also have had great experience taking armodafinil. @“SouthernCompounding” is where I usually get it from.

Just took one a day (150mg) for the past two days. Bought it to kill my appetite, which it does. However I cannot take it on days that I want to lift… Found that out yesterday. I took it at 6am and by 7pm I could still feel it, in the gym and could only do like three of my lifts because I felt like some nasty shit was going on with my heart, very light headed (probably due to hardly eating though) and I just felt fucked up.

I’ll continue to use it on non-lifting days. See if I can handle a light ECA stack with it and with my HGH I’m hoping the fat just fucking disappears.

I was not more productive. I felt wired but at the same time sort of unable to move from my desk. Writing that and I suddenly think that may have been anxiety stopping me from getting started. I’ll lower my dose next time.

I take it. It keeps my brain focused but I’m still tired and yawning the entire time. Tried it because it’s supposed to promote wakefulness and shit but since it’s not a stimulant it just keeps me awake and tired at the same tine. I use it when I have boring work to do.

I’ve been taking 200-300mg modafinil and on rough days an ECA stack on top of it for the better part of a year now, apart from crashing very hard in the evening, I haven’t noticed any bad sides

Love Modafinil and Armodafinil! It’s such a clean feeling of energy and focus that just gives me a good sense of productivity and well-being. Don’t expect it to act like the other energy goodies because it’s not a stimulant. Also, never take too much as that can give some of the worst migraines you’ll ever have when you withdraw.

Armodafinil is the ‘active compound’ of modafinil… so the dose is 150mg vs 200mg… other than that I cant tell, there are quite a few different brands out there and I havent personally noticed anything…

Being in professional school, 2 young kids, trying to crush the gym, work, trying to crush my grades… Moda is some good stuff, you wont feel all jacked up and weird like adderall and you wont pop hot on a piss test (if that is a concern, for me it is)… Not knocking the sources here but there are places online you can get the shit for way cheaper

I ordered from them as well. My order has been sitting in customs since April 27th though so I’m not super confident it’s going to be delivered at this point.

That sucks mine literally was in bound and out bound in a day. Most all my orders with them are unless I have a liquid in them.

I’m prescribed it because I have a sleep disorder. I take 200mg in the morning and sometimes another 100mg around 12-2pm. I try to take at least one day off a week, usually Sunday, because I think it helps keep tolerance low.

I love it. I was previously diagnosed with ADD because I would always struggle to stay focused and was prescribed Vyvanse and Adderall, but I did a sleep study and turns out I’m just always tired. Modafinil is so much cleaner feeling, doesn’t make me sweat, and isn’t as bad for you. Would recommend.

I’ve taken a total of 4 150mg pills now. Each time I’ve been left with a terrible headache, irritableness, anxiety and then my lifting session is garbage, like my heart feels as if its missing beats and thumping so I have to stop.

Not for me. Buddy of mine has horrible lethargy all day and I let him try one, says he feels amazing. I sold him what the last of what I had.
