So I’ve been seeing this lady who’s a nurse. I figured I’d see if she’d be willing to give me glute shots since it’s nearly impossible for me to do them myself. She was really excited and the past few nights she gave me shots in both glutes. Well, I’m using DHB at the moment and holy fuck, I can barely walk without ibuprofen and my body thinks I’m sick or something due to the PIP. Whenever I sit down, I have to do it gently, like a 90 year old man and I let out an “Ahhhh.” Horrible feeling. I do not get this when I pin my delts or quads. Maybe she pinned bad spots but I think it’s the DHB in this case.

Has anyone felt almost like they’re sick or something from PIP? I’ve felt this before a few times and it goes away after a couple days. Is it just the body reacting to the foreign compound?

@MikeAlstott This happened to me once, it was a VG shot. Just 250 test. I think I was too rough with the shot, wiggling it around and shit. Couldn’t walk, couldn’t sleep, etc. Had a temp of 100.5 for a couple days.

@MikeAlstott question stands, is your ass virgin? If you’ve never had a glute pin, virgin muscle is the Occam’s razor answer.

Probably a combination of factors but try diluting the DHB w sterile oil or more gear.

@Mstew7358 yup I pin it with Test and NPP, haven’t had a big problem yet besides this, heating the vials up a lot seems to help too.

Shit, sounds like me when I did my first injection in my quads. I literally chose to slide down the stairs on my ass a few times because I didn’t want to deal with taking a half hour to get to the kitchen.
