New to PEDs, what would you reccomend for my case?

I'm 21 years old, been training since 16, started to take it VERY seriously at 18, but it's been a year already where progress just ain't happening, I've been at this for so long and still not the strength or leanness I'd hoped for. I am not interested in using very strong steroids, and I'm aware there's always side-effects. So, in the case that I want to dip my toes in to see how my body reacts without getting too invested, and I want to receive a slight edge to help me get closer to "peak natty", what would you reccomend?
I've heard anavar is good to start before, but can't be sure.
If even with the mildest stuff I'm still at big risk of fucking myself up or something I also want to know, I'm just paranoid, I want to be REALLY sure of what I should do here.

And learn to diet and lift properly.

You're telling me you've plateaued the last 3 years, and you're 21, are you joking?

If you want to hop on gear then do it, but don't make up some dumb shit to cover for not training and dieting properly.

If you can't do it natty now, when you hop off gear, you're going to lose all of your gains since it doesn't sound like to know how to train or diet properly. It's not free muscle dude.

If you want to think I am like this just because I'm a shitass who doesn't know what protein and carbs do or how to get proper rest or proper training then go ahead, sure there are people like that, but personally I haven't caved in for no reason.
I already said my first two years were bad and that wasn't for lack of training, it was for lack of knowledge with nutrition and rest, I was sleeping like 6 hours per night and I thought meat was bad, I still made progress though, just didn't get the newbie gains most people do, and obviously my lack of proper nutrition and rest limited me.
I've also not plateaued in the last 3 years, I've made progress that's acceptable during 2 years in fact, and it's been the last 11 months that have been a whole lot of nothing for me, I wanted this to be my year, I've never taken it more seriously than this year, trying to put on as much lean mass and keep out as much fat as possible, but it's just not happening, nearly no progress, I can bench like... 4 kilos more than last year and that's the only real progress I've seen in the last 10 months. I feel really dissatisfied and I want to dip my toes into this, would you have preferred if I didn't say my current situation? I thought more info is better.

There is no dipping your toes. There is no feeling it out. There is no trial. You start and you shutdown your natural hormone. You are on or you are off.

If you take anavar your natural test will shutdown. This is why people run test bases. If you don't run a test base you have anavar and no test. You're on juice but fucking up your potential gains already while still taking all of the negative side effects. Again. On or off. Decide. You can't be a little of this and that.

Taking steroids does not make you any amount of "natty" either. If you take Var you're not natty. If you take test you're not natty. There is no grey natty or peak natty. There is no grey area to doing steroids. You do them or you don't do them.

I'd do 350-500mg/week of test, 20-50mg of var/day and I'd keep AI on hand or run primo at 200-500mg/week. 10-14 weeks. End var after 6-8weeks. Enjoy the +25lbs.

I’d wait a few more years for endocrine system and brain to fully mature and then run Test Cypionate at 500mg/wk for a first cycle. Then next cycle if you want to bulk you could add EQ or NPP with Test. That’s my opinion for you based on being using gears for about 14 years now.

I recommend Test only first so you can learn how you react to basic AAS. And then add a new compound every cycle after that until you have tried all the ones that sound interesting to you and you will know how you respond to each one as you add them. After you know how you react to several different compounds it becomes fun and easy to design more exotic cycles. I personally prefer DHT based gears myself. They work better with my body chemistry.

You should get blood work before doing anything. This will give you a baseline and something to work off of instead of shooting in the dark.

How is your diet? Calories drive gains. Are you in a surplus and actively tracking your macros?

Study this shit for years if you want to start, this isn't something to be fucking around with looking to dabble in, study and do it as safe as possible or don't do it at all. Having said that if you study enough I would look into 150mgs of testosterone per week to start, this is just moderate trt dose but you will notice an effect. Again, STUDY THIS SHIT.
