Nose Bleeds

For most of the last two months I’ve been having nose bleeds. The last month or so it’s actually been closer to every other or sometimes every day. 90% of the time it happens when I’m in the shower. I thought it might be hct related or something because I had not donated in closer to 3 months but I gave a double red last week and it’s still been happening like every/every other day.

Any ideas why? I normally only RARELY get them during dry cold winter days and such. They stop bleeding pretty quick if I pinch my nose, or if i’m in the shower they’ll usually stop on their own. I thought it might be the accutane when i was taking 60-80mg a day but even since dropping to 20mg it hasn’t changed.

I have a sick obsession with pulling nosehairs (omg the pain), is it possible maybe I got ahold of skin and tore into a little artery or something and weakened it? I figured if that was the case it would have scarred/healed over fully by now.

blood pressure is high most likely… the later sound ridiculous(coming from a former cokehead) and the former can still contribute I’m pretty sure, even at a lower dose.

Check your bp. This was happening to me a while ago and I realized my bp was high.

Your RBCs may be to high and you’re bleeding because of that
Check for RBCs, hemoglobin and hematocrit
If they’re above normal and in the high range some people also experience bruising

As mentioned above, if I let my BP get high and or am using EQ I have the same issue.

Looks bad ass when you’re pulling PRs though…

Nosebleeds are pretty common even for non-users in dry/cold climates, so I’d say it’s likely that paired with high BP + EQ use (I had a couple nosebleeds on high dose EQ and where I live is far from dry/cold). Picking your nose hairs probably isn’t helping either though.

I agree with this guy. It happens mostly in the hot showers so climate could be a factor. You’re one of the most knowledgeable guys on here so I’m sure you are up to date on your BP readings so I doubt it’s that though. And yes, pulling your nose hairs could do it too since the inside of the nostrils are EXTREMELY sensitive. Plus you need them hairs for protection big dawg.

Have you considered getting a humidifier? They always helped me when I’d get excessive nose bleeds in cold and dry weather.

My BP when I went to give blood was 138/78 and hct was on its way up towards the cutoff for the draw but not dangerous yet. Next day my BP was back down to 124/74 which is a typical number for me even off blast. Currently 8 weeks in on 125mg Test D from Supreme Pharma and 450mg Tren E from Versace and taking 5mg of Nebivolol daily sourced from AIPCTshop. I’m fairly happy with that number being on a blast and all. Much better then my winter with just 210-300mg of Tren E and no Nebivolol - Hearing my heardbeat and having it be elevated by the Tren was a constant irritation. Since giving blood and the lower pressure I’ve had a couple nosebleeds but I would say they are even more mild then what I was already having previously.

A humidifier is an idea. The nosebleeds getting worse coincides with my rigging up a portable AC for the bedroom which pulls an insane amount of moisture from the air. Bedroom is the hottest room in the house so now I don’t have to turn the central air to 65 to keep my bedroom at 70. I’ve backed the tane back to down to 20mg and will stay there, and I’ll have to dial back my sickness with the hose hairs. Can’t believe I’m the only one, though! =P
