Turning 50 at the end of May. Yikes! That hurts to say! Definitely don’t feel that old. I had slipped into an unhealthy lifestyle for about six years. Zero time in the gym, unhealthy diet, way too much alcohol. March of last year I rededicated myself , got my diet and training dialed in and lost 30 pounds. Had my test levels tested and started TRT in mid August. Making great progress and my goal is to be in the best shape of my life by my fiftieth birthday. Looking to get at or below 10% by then and hopefully add a bit of size and strength. Looking forward to utilizing the wealth of knowledge of the posters on this forum.

Welcome to the board! It gets harder and harder as the years go by. Stay consistent with the diet and workouts and you are set! Wish you the best. 💪

I'm 46. When I'm 50 I want people to say "holy shit that old guy is fucking jacked!"

I was in a hotel gym a little over a year ago when I was just getting started. It was literally my second week of lifting and I didn't want my work trip to keep me from lifting. There was an old gray guy in the gym that was pretty impressive, he was killing it. I want to be that guy.
