Well entering week 4 now. Completed three full weeks so far and can report that I feel just fine. My strength is down, and my recovery is much worse than while on obviously but motivation, depression, etc are all fine. My anxiety has drastically improved from the first few weeks as well but that may be due to reducing the clomid and nolva dosages. I will say that I feel like I look like gummo. I just feel so much softer and weak, and god is it awful. I’ve only lost 3 lbs but have definitley lost the “look” if you will”. Sex drive is still shit, really hoping that starts to ramp up. One other thing I’m noticing are that acne is increasing on my face and chest. I broke out bad while on blast on my back but never face or chest.

What did you decrease your PCT dose to?
Clomid and nolva from 50/40 to 25/20 respectively.

Into week 4 now and can say that it seems like my sex drive is coming back up. Not what it was on test obviously but this morning was the first morning I woke up with morning wood. Feels good man. Boner was 6/10 but I’ll take it. I’ll be getting bloodwork in two weeks at week 6 to see where I’m at so far.

Thanks Man! It’s going much better than it was haha. I can say I finally feel “myself”. The only things that still suck are that I’m sore as fuck after workouts and now my workouts are starting to slow. Strength is fine, I just don’t have the energy I did. I’m also really feeling like I look much different. But that could be a mental game right now. I’ll be getting bloods in two weeks to check on recovery and will post here. Good luck man I hope yours goes as smooth as mine has so far!

The mental aspect to looking different is huge. I felt like the skinniest of skeletors after my first ride but I took pictures every morning with the same lighting just so I could be sure I wasn’t psyching myself into thinking I’d gotten tiny.

Finishing up week 6 and it’s as if I’m regressing back to week 1 - lethargy, zero sex drive, etc. Not sure if I’m psyching myself out or what. On three subsequent occasions I had some performance issues in the bedroom and my wife is less than pleased. Getting blood work on Wednesday to maybe shed some light. Nothing has changed pct wise, still same brand etc but needless to say I’m very worried. I’ve ssiffered from performance anxiety in the past and am thinking that with my hormones rebounding maybe this has something to do with it. Who knows 😦

You may have to be very patient man, maybe even bring the doses back up for a bit. 18 months is quite a while to be shut off. Blood work is key as well. You’ll be alright dawg.

Bloodwork.

Bloods after 6 weeks of pct. Dropped clomid based on direction of someone else as they mentioned clomid and Nolva work on the same axis. So only running 20mgs Nolva for two days now. Happy to see FSH and LH are coming back up, albeit low still. My test and estrogen are of concern though…thought they’d be a little higher by now. Plan on running another 6 weeks and may add back in clomid and/or up the dosage…

Is anyone able to speak to whether keeping up with my regimen of 25 Clomid/ 20 Nolva would be better than dropping Clomid completely. Maybe up Nolva to 40mg? Or keep the same…I keep hearing conflicting information on whether Clomid and Nolva together contradict each other.

Thank you for this. This makes me feel a bit better, I guess I’ll just have to give it time. And I think I’ll keep clomid in there

No problem man. Haven’t had a change to read through your log yet but I’m glad to answer any questions you have about my experience. There’s not too much out there in terms of first hand experiences of people coming off after long BnCs.

Update***. Had an apt with my GP today who looked at bloods and diagnosed me as hypogonadism and prescribed a test patch. I asked for injections and he said no because “they hurt”. I’m happy I got the diagnosis and a script but now am trying to figure out how to get injections and hcg for fertility.

With that diagnosis and script you might be able to get a second opinion and ask for test script. The worst that can happen is they say no.

So based on your appointment with your GP & bloods you feel like you weren’t able to recover properly?

I don’t actually think I would say that. Not completely anyway. Pre jumping on, my T levels were lowish, just under 350. My LH sand FSH levels returned to baseline so by definition I suppose that means I’ve recovered? I think I’ve always had hypogonadism and my body just can’t keep the test up. I’m not naive to the fact that it most likely had something to do with my use though.

Was your plan coming off just to try and fully recover or just to come off then get a script?
I’m thinking about coming off in a year or so and I’m curious as to what my levels would be. I also did not get bloodwork before starting, so I was very curious as to your thread, as well as the other guy who was on for 2.5 years.
